Resumo: This paper aims to present a proposal for an undergraduate degree in Sociocultural Anthropology and Archaeology at the UFGD (Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados), State of MatoGrosso do Sul, Brazil. The planned undergraduate course will be offered based on the articulation among the fields of Sociocultural Anthropology and Archaeology. Students will have a single entry by year, made throughout one selection process, and the course will be dividing on stages: two years of common training and two years of specific disciplines, selected from one of the two main fields of knowledge. The proposal was also based on experiences acquired in other Brazilian universities. The course subject of this paper comes to supply a growing demand in the country and MERCOSUR for professionals in the areas of Sociocultural Anthropology and Archaeology.

O curso é proposto por meio da articulação entre a Antropologia Sociocultural e a Arqueologia, com uma única entrada por meio de processo seletivo, dois anos de formação em comum e dois anos de formação específica em um dos dois campos do conhecimento.
