SOUZA, Vânia Rocha Fialho de Paiva e, também é conhecida em citações bibliográficas por: FIALHO, Vânia RochaA partir da observação de aspectos da “micropolítica da vida cotidiana” (Bailey, 1971) na comunidade quilombola da Pitombeira, localizada no sertão paraibano, o presente texto analisa o modo pelo qual as configurações familiares e a articulação política do grupo se relacionam com os processos históricos e as lutas identitárias por eles compartilhados. Apoiando-me em uma abordagem processualista (Barth, 1969), tomei como referência para a minha reflexão, as situações ordinárias e extraordinárias ali presenciadas e vividas junto ao grupo, destacando diferentes momentos de chegada de pessoas de fora e seus processos de aproximação ou distanciamento, marcados por elementos de ordem temporal e pela demarcação de fronteiras estabelecidas, ora pelo pertencimento as famílias de raizes, ora pelo pertencimento ao grupo étnico. E que dão visibilidade a um contexto de profundas superposições, cuja compreensão torna possível melhor entender os processos que perpassam a rotina diária do grupo. O material empírico possibilitou destacar que, os pertencimentos familiares são importantes princípios de mapeamento e de organização social daquele grupo. Nesse sentido, a análise aqui apresentada atribuiu destaque às dinâmicas familiares evidenciando atores que, trilhando por arenas diversas (no mundo religioso, político, associativo ou mesmo familiar), representam para o grupo relevantes contribuições para sua constituição e manutenção. Para tanto, destacou-se o modo pelo qual as interações vão se constituindo e as dinâmicas da vida familiar vão pautando a organização e articulação social e política do grupo, permeados por um conjunto de repertórios morais, marcados pelas reputações e conflitos entre as famílias que ali residem. Contemplando diferentes níveis da vida social daquelas famílias, foi possível destacar a complexa e imbricada relação existente entre apropriação territorial, laços de parentesco e construção de padrões de pertencimentos que são marcados por afetividade, moralidade e agenciamento político; sinalizando assim, questões importantes para pensarmos os elementos envoltos nos desdobramentos dos processos de reconhecimento da identidade étnica dos moradores da Pitombeira.CAPESFrom the observation of aspects of the“micro-politics of everyday life” (Bailey, 1971) on the quilombola community of Pitombeira, located in outback (sertão) of the state of Paraíba , this text analyzes the general way in which family configurations and political articulations are related with historical processes and identity struggles shared by the group. Based in a processual approach (Barth, 1969), I analyze the ordinary and extraordinary situations witnessed and lived, highlighting different moments of arrivals of outsiders and its processes of approaching and detachment, its elements of temporal order and the demarcation of established boundaries; established sometimes by the belonging in the root families, other times by an ethnic belonging that gives visibility to a context of deep superpositions, which makes possible a perception of the processes pervading the daily routine of the community. The empirical data highlight that a feeling of family belonging is an important principle of mapping and of social organization in Pitombeira. Thus, the study presented here illuminate the family dynamics showing actors that, through various arenas (religious, political, associative, or even familial fields), represent relevant contributions to the constitution and maintenance of the group. Therefore, interactions are constituted and dynamics of family life guide the social and political organization of the group, permeated by a set of moral repertoires, marked by the reputations and conflicts between the families that reside there. Considering the different levels of social life of these families, it was possible make evident the complex and intertwined relationship existing between territorial appropriation, kinship ties and the construction of patterns of belonging.
