A pesquisa é de natureza correlacional, exploratória e com características descritivas, recorte transversal e fundamentados em dados primários. Contou-se com a participação de 51 mães com crianças com microcefalia, apresentando idades entre 18 e 54 anos. E um grupo controle composto por 15 mães de crianças sem microcefalia e outras deficiências. As participantes responderam as seguintes escalas psicométricas: Experiences in Close Relationship (ECR), Escala SWLS (Satisfaction With Life Scale), Escala sobre o Otimismo, Escala sobre a Felicidade, Escala sobre a Esperança e a Escala Breve do Comportamento Resiliente. Além dessas medidas, as cuidadoras responderam um questionário sociodemográfico. Os instrumentos são construídos com medidas curtas, padronizadas e validadas no Brasil. A aplicação dos instrumentos se deu através de formulários online. Os resultados e discussões foram organizados em etapas de análise, na etapa 1, observa-se que as cuidadoras são as principais responsáveis pelo cuidado da criança com microcefalia. Na etapa 2, o exame das medidas psicológicas demonstraram boas propriedades psicológicas; a etapa 3, houve a categorização dos cuidadores de acordo com os padrões associados aos Estilos de Apego Adulto; e por fim, na etapa 4, obteve-se a média dos valores obtidos nas escalas, através da qual constata-se que os indivíduos com Estilos de Apego Seguro apresentam maiores níveis positivos em todas as medidas sujetivas, os de Estilo Inseguro Ambivalente possuem níveis médios negativos nas variáveis que medem a percepção subjetiva ligadas ao futuro (Otimismo e Esperança), os de Apego Inseguro Evitante demonstram um valor médio negativo com a Felicidade e o Apego Desorganizado manifestam valores médios negativos em todas as experiências subjetivas, indicando possíveis riscos no bem-estar social e psíquico. A pesquisa oferece um entendimento sobre o encontro das teorias do Apego Adulto e das medidas da Psicologia Positiva, indicando que os Estilos de Apego das cuidadoras desempenham papel protetivo sobre as adversidades sociais e subjetivas.CNPqThe aim of this study was to describe the relationship between the external patterns associated with the Adult Attachment Styles (Secure, Ambivalent, Avoidant, and Disorganized), the manifestations of subjective experiences (Optimism, Happiness, Hope, Satisfaction with life and Resilience) and the social profile, in the light of Positive Psychology, in the sample of caregivers of children with microcephaly associated with the Zika virus. The research is correlational in nature, exploratory and with descriptive characteristics, transversal cross - referencing and based on primary data. The sample consisted of 51 mothers with children having microcephaly, aged 18 to 54 years. The study also included a control group composed of 15 mothers of children without microcephaly and other disabilities. Participants answered the following psychometric scales: Experiences in Close Relationship (ECR), Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS), Scale of Optimism, Scale of Happiness, Scale of Hope, and Brief Scale of Resilient Behavior. In addition to these measures, the caregivers answered a sociodemographic questionnaire. The instruments were developed with short, standardized and validated measures in Brazil. The application of the questionnaires was carried out through online forms. The results and discussions were organized in stages of analysis, in stage 1, it is observed that the caregivers are the main responsible for the care of the child with microcephaly. In stage 2, the examination of psychological measures showed good psychological properties; stage 3, there was the categorization of the caregivers according to the patterns associated with the Styles of Adult Attachment; Finally, in stage 4, we obtained the mean of the values obtained in the Scales, through which it was found that individuals with Secure Attachment Styles presented higher positive levels in all the Ambivalent Insecure Style has negative mean levels in the variables that measure the subjective perception linked to the future (Optimism and Hope), the Avoidant Attachment demonstrate a negative mean value with Happiness and Disorganized Attachment show negative mean values in all subjective experiences, indicating possible risks in social and psychic well-being.
