Permitiu mais eficiência no desenvolvimento de projetos de arquitetura e complementares, gerando documentos com maior precisão e nível de confiabilidade.A tecnologia BIM traz melhorias ao processo de desenvolvimento de projetos melhorando a produtividade, uma vez que incorporaa este processo informações precisas e confiáveis.Por outro lado, a execução destes projetos no canteiro de obra não segue a mesma premissa. As obras são executadas com informações dos projetos, mas não se beneficiam do sistema por não ter o número suficiente de profissionais com aexpertise necessária para este fim.Poucos estudos para implantação de um sistema CAD 5D BIM em obras foram desenvolvidos, porém,com limitações de aplicação e se concentrando na execução de obras de maior porte. Os recursos do CAD 5D BIM não foram explorados em sua totalidade e a sua utilizaçãoem obras de menor porte são inexistentes.Este trabalho buscou verificar a possibilidade de se utilizar o CAD 5D BIM para apoiar o controle da obra / serviço,bem como propor um processo de gestão e controle de obras com o foco na qualidade, acompanhando os custos e o cronograma com visualização gráfica no sistema CAD 5D BIM. Observou-se que o gerenciamento de obras com integração dos elementos prazo e custo,visualizados no modelo tridimensional da obra de forma autoexplicativa, proporciona melhorias de desempenho e manutenção do planejamento dos serviços dentro do programado, acelera o processo de entendimento e facilita o planejamento corretivo com as ações necessárias para reequilibrar o processo construtivo.The development of projects for civil construction evolved with high technology systems. The BIM system, Building Information Modeling, contributed to the accomplishment of integrated, accurate and compatibilized projects. It allowed more efficiency in the development of architectural and complementary projects, generating documents with greater precision and enhanced reliability. BIM technology brings improvements in the process of project development by improving productivity and by incorporating accurate and reliable information. On the other hand, the execution of these projects at the construction site does not follow the same premise. The workis executed with project information, but do not benefit from the system because it does not count with enough professionals with the necessary expertise for this purpose. Few studies for the implementation of a CAD 5D BIM system in construction work have been developed, but most showed application limitations, and focused on the execution of larger works. The resources of the CAD 5D BIM have not been fully explored, and its use in smaller works is non-existent. This dissertationseeks to verify the possibility of using the CAD 5D BIM to support the control of the work / service, as well as proposes a process for the management and control of construction works with a focus on quality, as well as the monitoring of costs and schedules throughthe graphic visualization in the system CAD 5D BIM.
