No caso, tendo como referencial teórico a noção de profissionalidade e saberes docentes ancorados nos conceitos de campo e habitus presentes na teoria bourdieusiana, esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar saberes que vêm sendo mobilizados por formadores da Academia Integrada de Defesa Social (ACIDES) no quadro da correlação de forças entre o habitus da instrução militar e a configuração da docência no ensino policial. E para dar conta deste propósito, teve como campo de pesquisa o Campus de Ensino Mata (CEMATA) da ACIDES, notadamente o Curso de Formação de Oficiais da Polícia Militar de Pernambuco (CFO/PM), e como participantes da pesquisa 08 (oito) Oficiais da PMPE que atuaram como formadores no âmbito do ensino policial no CEMATA/ACIDES, no segundo semestre letivo de 2016. Os dados foram recolhidos através de análise documental, aplicação de questionário, observação de aulas e realização de entrevista, os quais foram sistematizados por meio da análise de conteúdo em quatro eixos: concepções e requisitos para atuar como formador, presentes nas diretrizes para o ensino policial; concepções e requisitos para atuar como formador no ensino policial sob a ótica de formadores da ACIDES; saberes mobilizados por formadores na ACIDES no quadro de correlação de forças entre a afirmação do ensino policial e a pretensa ruptura com o habitus da instrução militar; reconfigurações de saberes mobilizados por formadores da ACIDES na tensão habitus da instrução militar versus docência no ensino policial. Os achados indicaram a mobilização de saberes com enfoque distinto daqueles vinculados à tradição da instrução militar por parte de alguns formadores da ACIDES, principalmente saberes disciplinares e saberes curriculares, mas ainda com grande valorização do domínio do saber da experiência operacional denotando uma força do habitus da tradição da instrução militar. Os achados também acenaram um reconhecimento da importância de saberes relacionados às Ciências da Educação para atuar no ensino policial. Por fim, o estudo aponta para reconfigurações no âmbito da organização do trabalho docente, em meio à resistência do habitus da tradição da instrução militar, que remetem a considerar a compreensão da relação entre instrução militar e ensino policial.In the affirmation context of the preventive and educational paradigm present at Brazilian Public Security Policies, this study is based on the understanding that the configuration of police education in the perspective of breaking away with the tradition of military instruction. It is necessary to consider the work of the one who acts for formation of the public security professional as an educator in police education, in the perspective of approaching with exercise of the teaching function. In this case, having as theoretical reference the notion of professionalism and teacher knowledge based on the concepts of field and habitus present in the Bourdieusian’s theory, this research had the objective of analyzing knowledges that have been mobilized by instructors of the Integrated Academy of Social Defense (ACIDES) in the framework of the correlation of forces between the habitus of military instruction and the teaching’s configuration in police education. In order to fulfill this purpose, the Campus de Ensino Mata (CEMATA) of ACIDES was the field of research, notably the Training Course for Officers of the Military Police of Pernambuco (CFO/PM), and as participants in this study, eight Officers of the PMPE who acted as instructors at the side of police education at CEMATA/ACIDES, in the second semester of 2016. Data were collected from documentary research, questionnaire application, observation of classes and interview conducted, which were systematized by content analysis in four axes: conceptions and requirements to act as instructor, present in the guidelines for police education; conceptions and requirements to act as instructor in police education from the perspective of ACIDES instructors; knowledge mobilized by instructor in ACIDES within the framework of the correlation of forces between the affirmation of police education and the alleged breaking away from the habitus of military instruction; reconfigurations of knowledge mobilized by ACIDES instructors in the habitus tension of military instruction versus teaching in police education. The findings appointed out the mobilization of knowledge with a different approach from those linked to the tradition of military instruction by some ACIDES instructors, mainly disciplinary knowledge and curricular knowledge, but still with great valorization of the knowledge domain of operational experience denoting a strength of the habitus of the tradition of military instruction. The findings also appointed out a recognition of the importance of knowledge related to the Education Sciences to act in police education.
