Portanto, tanto a relação entre a arte e a política quanto o movimento dialético da arte em relação à realidade repressiva do princípio de desempenho estão fundamentadas sobre a forma estética que, além disso, oferece à arte a capacidade de alteridade, de estranhamento necessário para iniciar o processo de recusa ao status quo. Por conseguinte, essa dissertação tem como objetivo geral a caracterização da forma estética na teoria crítica marcuseana e, além disso, o esclarecimento da sua importância para a sustentação da dimensão estética do Filósofo. Para realizar essa tarefa optou-se por esclarecer a localização e inserção da arte na teoria crítica de Marcuse. Após essa localização adentrou-se na questão da formação do conceito e sua íntima relação com a política que possui como sustentação do universo da obra um a priori que modifica o conteúdo da realidade reificada. No último capítulo tentou-se pensar quais seriam os limites da forma estética de Marcuse, após a sugestão de uma taxonomia semântica do seu conceito de arte, quando posto em frente à vanguarda artística, aos Readymades de Duchamp e a posterior compreensão de Arthur Danto em relação ao desenvolvimento da arte.CAPESWhen dealing with the question of art in the critical theory of Herbert Marcuse, it is necessary to take into account the need for clarification about the concept of aesthetic form that runs through several decades of his work. Therefore, both the relationship between art and politics and the dialectical movement of art in relation to the repressive reality of the performance principle are based on the aesthetic form that, in addition, offers art the capacity for otherness, for the strangeness necessary to start the process of refusing the status quo. Therefore, this dissertation has as its general objective the characterization of the aesthetic form in the Marcusian critical theory and, moreover, the clarification of its importance for the support of the Philosopher's aesthetic dimension. To accomplish this task, it was decided to clarify the location, insertion, of art in Marcuse's critical theory. After this location, the issue of concept formation and its intimate relationship with the policy that supports the universe of the work is an a priori that modifies the content of the reified reality.
