Tese (Doutorado em Educação) – Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Recife, 2021.https://repositorio.ufpe.br/handle/123456789/49699PACHECO, José Augusto, também é conhecido em citações bibliográficas por: PACHECO, José Augusto de Brito.Partindo da problemática entre formação acadêmica e inserção no mercado de trabalho, materializada na educação por competências e na possibilidade de esta ser vetor de empregabilidade, o projeto de tese intitulado (Re)construção do currículo e a empregabilidade no Brasil, em Ciências da Educação, especialidade em Desenvolvimento Curricular, da Universidade do Minho, tem como proposta a investigação para identificar as possibilidades e os limites do currículo como vetor de formação da empregabilidade no curso de graduação em Administração, no Brasil. A revisão da literatura incide em termos-chave como mercado, mercado de trabalho, empregabilidade, competências, educação superior e currículo, cujo desenvolvimento é realizado a partir de uma abordagem interdisciplinar. Especificamente sobre currículo, são focadas as concepções presentes na literatura, considerando a relação entre currículo, formação acadêmica e mercado, além de considerar o caráter das determinações estatais sobre currículo como política pública de regulação da educação superior. A metodologia é de natureza qualitativa e quantitativa. Em relação ao paradigma qualitativo, buscou-se, na análise dos dados, uma aproximação das técnicas de análise crítica do discurso e da análise de conteúdo, com destaque para a análise documental, a partir de um corpus documental extraídos da organização curricular de um curso de ensino superior no Brasil. Em nexo ao paradigma quantitativo, foram aplicados métodos de estatística descritiva na sistematização e interpretação do conjunto de dados recolhidos, por meio de médias e indicadores de proporcionalidade. No estudo empírico, as entrevistas estruturadas foram realizadas com 3 gestores acadêmicos, 3 sujeitos de agências integradoras, 6 sujeitos do âmbito mercado e de inquérito aplicado a 155 alunos do Curso de Administração, assim como, ao nível das técnicas de análise de resultados, para a análise de conteúdo. Como principais conclusões destacam-se: a polissemia do conceito de competência implicando em dificuldade de sua delimitação teórica; a possibilidade potencial do currículo ser um vetor da empregabilidade; a assimetria da relação entre mercado e educação em termos de autonomia, indicando o predomínio do primeiro em relação ao segundo; desafios para a efetivação de uma prática pedagógica visando a formação baseada em competências no ensino superior. O trabalho aponta, ainda, pistas para ações institucionais na perspectiva de reformas, com total integração do corpo docente, tanto nas diretrizes curriculares, quanto na prática pedagógica das unidades curriculares no curso de Administração.Taking from the problem between academic training and insertion in the labor market, materialized in education by skills and in the possibility of this being a vector of employability, the thesis project entitled (Re) construction of the curriculum and employability in Brazil, in Educational Sciences, specialty of Curricular Development, of the University of Minho, has as proposal the investigation to identify the possibilities and the limits of the curriculum as a vector of formation of the employability in the graduation course in Administration, in Brazil. The literature review focuses on key terms such as market, labor market, employability, skills, higher education and curriculum, which development is carried out from an interdisciplinary approach. Specifically on curriculum, the concepts present in literature are focused, considering the relationship between curriculum, academic training and the market, in addition to considering the character of state determinations on curriculum as a public policy for the regulation of higher education. The methodology is of a qualitative and quantitative nature. In relation to the qualitative paradigm, the analysis of the data sought an approximation of the techniques of critical discourse analysis and content analysis, with emphasis on documentary analysis, based on a documentary corpus extracted from the curricular organization of a course of higher education in Brazil. In connection with the quantitative paradigm, descriptive statistics methods were applied in the systematization and interpretation of the collected data set, using means and proportionality indicators. In the empirical study, structured interviews were conducted with 3 academic managers, 3 subjects from integrating agencies, 6 subjects from the market and survey applied to 155 students of the Administration Course, as well as, at the level of results analysis techniques, for content analysis. The main conclusions stand out: the polysemy of the concept of competence, implying difficulties in its theoretical delimitation; the potential for the curriculum to be a vector for employability; the asymmetry of the relationship between the market and education in terms of autonomy, indicating the predominance of the first in relation to the second; challenges for the implementation of a pedagogical practice aimed at training based on competences in higher education.
