Resumo: This article explores some possibilities for correlations between forgetfulness and nature based on Nietzsche's philosophy, taking into account certain approximations with his readings that involve the theme, particularly the readings of Goethe's Faust, and some possible interlocutions, such as the case of one of the ways in which the idea of forgetting appears in the book A Queda do Céu, by the yanomami shaman David Kopenawa. In these different texts, according to the hypothesis assumed in this study, forgetfulness is close to the idea of rest in nature, understood as an environment conducive to meeting oneself and reestablishing of the individual.
