Resumo: The basic scope of a Critical Theory is based on emancipation, which results from analysis, diagnosis, and a corrective attitude toward a social pathology. Taking this assumption into account, the current scenario of political Brazilian is rooted in populism which obliterates the constitutive elements of the “Social” understood as institutions, practices, and social relations. Under the mainstay of an “Aufklärung” of a critical theory of politics and based on the current Brazilian social and political context, I aim to explicit, in this research, the demand for an ethical and solidary conception as an answer to the social and political problems of “Bolsonarist” populism that undermines the “Social” sphere in Brazil. In this regard, I start from the basic idea that a critical theory should take on a decolonial thought as an assumption of its social and normative understanding (1). Considering (1), an immanent criticism of the current populism moves towards an ethical-solidary action as an attempt to correct this political “dasein” (2).
