Resumo: | This article aims to show how the relationship among the voice, listening, and the path is decisive for the Oedipal drama's tragic unfolding. From listening to the Apollinium oracle to the prophecies of the blind seer, Oedipus sets out on a journey, always in search of finding out truly who he is and what his destiny is. Based on the Foucauldian readings and in dialogue with other scholars of this millennial play, it is possible to see that the new judicial model implemented by the king of Thebes himself to discover the murderer of the former sovereign condemns him to listen to the word from which, for all time, he has evaded. And the salvation of the city? This is nothing more than an effect of lights and sounds: a way to make the truth emerge so that everyone can see and hear it and thus recover the lost order. |

El propósito de este artículo es mostrar cómo la relación entre la voz, la escucha y el camino son determinantes para el trágico desenvolvimiento del drama edípico. Desde la escucha del oráculo apolíneo, pasando por las predicciones del vidente ciego, Edipo emprende un viaje, siempre en busca de encontrar verdaderamente quién es él y cuál es su destino. A partir de las lecturas foucaultianas y en diálogo con otros estudiosos de esta obra milenaria, es posible percibir que el nuevo modelo judicial implementado por el propio rey de Tebas para descubrir al asesino del ex soberano, lo condena a escuchar la palabra que, para siempre, robó. ¿Y la salvación de la ciudad? Esto no es más que un efecto de luces y sonidos: una forma de hacer emerger la verdad para que todos puedan verla y oírla y, así, recuperar el orden perdido. O objetivo deste artigo é mostrar como a relação entre a voz, a escuta e o caminho são decisivos para o desenrolar trágico do drama edipiano. Desde a escuta do oráculo apolínio, passando pelos vaticínios do vidente cego, Édipo coloca-se a caminho, sempre em busca de encontrar verdadeiramente quem ele é e qual o seu destino. Partindo das leituras foucaultianas e em diálogo com outros estudiosos dessa peça milenar, é possível perceber que o novo modelo judiciário implantado pelo próprio rei de Tebas para descobrir o assassino do antigo soberano, o condena a escutar a palavra da qual, por todo tempo, ele furtou-se. E a salvação da cidade? Esta não passa de um efeito de luzes e sonoridades: uma forma de fazer a verdade surgir para que todos possam vê-la e ouvi-la e, assim, se recuperar a ordem perdida.
