IMPLEMENTATION OF REMOTE EDUCATION THROUGH THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC: DILEMMS, CHALLENGES AND PERSPECTIVES

One of the great challenges of research in education is the fact the research of the several relationships between the use of technologies and the classroom. Taking into account the current pandemic context, we realize that the search for answers to concerns regarding the implementation of Remote Activities gains even more importance in the scientific community. This work presents as General Objective the understanding of the dilemmas and challenges in the implementation of Remote Teaching and Learning Activities at IFPI, Campus Floriano. To this end, the study consisted of a qualitative, documentary research, whose approach was Ethnomethodology with Participant Observation, Narrative Interview and Policy Cycle procedures, having as its locus the Federal Institute of Piauí - IFPI, Campus Floriano and as interlocutors, three academics from the Mathematics Degree course. The study showed that, although it has worked to regulate non-classroom activities and to seek to reduce the inequalities presented in access to remote activities, the IFPI, through instruments such as “connectivity assistance”, in practice, experienced the emergence many dilemmas of a personal, social and pedagogical nature on the part of students, as well as didactic challenges on the part of teachers.
