Pedagogical practices of teachers and high schools of Piauí, to the Saeb 2019

Resumo: | The article analyzes two blocks of questions present in the contextual questionnaire of the 2019 Basic Education Assessment System for teachers of the 3rd year of high school in the state network of Piauí: pedagogical practices of Portuguese Language and Mathematics and pedagogical resources used and considered appropriate by teachers. It is based on studies and research carried out on educational indicators that contribute to the improvement of learning and works with a sample of one hundred schools, half with the best results in the Basic Education Development Index (Ideb) 2019 and an equal number with the smallest, seeking to verify the teachers' perceptions about these two blocks of questions. The microdata were obtained from the website of the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) and processed using descriptive statistics. The results show that in terms of the pedagogical practices, the two groups of teachers assume similar positions; with regard to the resources used, schools with lower results in the IDEB show a greater lack of most of them. Other educational indicators analyzed show that schools with lower results in Ideb have students with a lower socioeconomic level, have much lower approval rates and the difference in proficiency in Portuguese and Mathematics is lower than the group of schools with higher results, in values corresponding to approximately two school years. In the end, it is concluded that the accountability of teachers whose large-scale evaluations have so strongly highlighted needs to be mediated by a wide set of intra and extra-school variables. |

Se basa en estudios e investigaciones realizadas acerca de indicadores educacionales que contribuyen para mejorar el aprendizaje y trabaja con una amuestra de cien escuelas, la mitad con los mejores resultados en el índice de Desarrollo de la Educación Básica (Ideb) 2019 y la otra mitad, con los menores, buscando verificar las percepciones de los docentes acerca de esos dos grupos de cuestiones. Los microdatos fueron obtenidos en el sitio del Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep) y tratados con el uso de estadística descriptiva. Los resultados revelan que cuanto a las prácticas pedagógicas, los dos grupos de profesores asumen posturas semejantes; ya aquello que se refiere a los recursos pedagógicos utilizados, las escuelas con los resultados menores en el Ideb presentan mayor carencia de ellos. Otros indicadores educacionales analizados evidencian que las escuelas con menores resultados en Ideb presentan alumnos en estrato socioeconómico bajo, presentan índice de aprobación muy inferiores y la diferencia de competencia en Lengua Portuguesa y Matemáticas es inferior al grupo de escuelas con mejores resultados, en valores corresponden aproximadamente a un retraso de dos años escolares. Al fin podemos concluir que la responsabilidad de los profesores cuyas evaluaciones de larga escala han sido tan fuertemente destacada hay que ser mediada por un conjunto amplio de factores intra y extra escolares.O artigo analisa dois blocos de questões presentes no questionário contextual do Sistema de Avaliação da Educação Básica 2019 dos professores do 3º ano do ensino médio da rede estadual do Piauí: práticas pedagógicas de Língua Portuguesa e Matemática e recursos pedagógicos utilizados e considerados adequados pelos docentes. Se apoia em estudos e pesquisas realizadas sobre indicadores educacionais que contribuem para a melhoria da aprendizagem e trabalha com uma amostra de cem escolas, metade com os melhores resultados no Índice de Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica (Ideb) 2019 e igual número, com os menores, procurando verificar as percepções dos docentes sobre esses dois blocos de questões. Os resultados mostram que quanto às práticas pedagógicas, os dois grupos de professores assumem posturas semelhantes; já no que se refere aos recursos pedagógicos utilizados, as escolas com menores resultados no Ideb apresentam maior carência da maioria deles. Outros indicadores educacionais analisados mostram que as escolas com menores resultados no Ideb possuem alunos com nível socioeconômico mais baixo, apresentam taxas de aprovação bastante inferiores e a diferença de proficiência em Língua Portuguesa e Matemática é inferior ao grupo de escolas com maiores resultados, em valores correspondem aproximadamente a dois anos escolares.
