READING PRACTICES AT SCHOOL AND QUALITY IN/OF EDUCATION

Resumo: This article aims to show how the development of reading practices in the school environment constitutes an essential tool for building an educational system of effective quality, aligned with the context in which students are inserted. This is an exploratory bibliographic study of a qualitative nature that sought to clarify the historical conceptualization of the term quality in/of education and present discussions related to the quality parameters to be adopted in the Brazilian educational system based on reference works by Luiz Fernandes Dourado ; Marcelo Mocarzel and Jorge Najjar; and Romualdo Portela de Oliveira and Gilda Cardoso de Araújo. In this way, also, through the bibliographical survey, we sought to understand the processes that involve reading as a social act, an essential tool for the democratization of education and the implementation of a fairer society, in the works of Paulo Freire, while for In the discussion about reading and literary literacy, publications by Magda Soares, Isabel Solé and Rildo Cosson were used. The article concludes, (re)affirming the close relationship between quality processes in/in education and reading practices within the school context as a consequence of liberating education, considering that the mastery of written language and critical reading they make it possible to increase the quality of the results of educational actions and manifest themselves positively in the social environment, making it more fair and democratic.

Se trata de un estudio bibliográfico exploratorio de carácter cualitativo que buscó esclarecer la conceptualización histórica del término calidad en/de la educación y presentar discusiones relacionadas a los parámetros de calidad a ser adoptados en el sistema educativo brasileño a partir de obras de referencia de Luiz Fernandes Dourado; Marcelo Mocarzel y Jorge Nájjar; y Romualdo Portela de Oliveira y Gilda Cardoso de Araújo. De esta manera, también, a través del levantamiento bibliográfico, buscamos comprender los procesos que involucran la lectura como acto social, herramienta esencial para la democratización de la educación y la implementación de una sociedad más justa, en las obras de Paulo Freire, mientras que para En la discusión sobre lectura y alfabetización literaria se utilizaron publicaciones de Magda Soares, Isabel Solé y Rildo Cosson. El artículo concluye, (re)afirmando la estrecha relación entre los procesos de calidad en/en la educación y las prácticas lectoras en el contexto escolar como consecuencia de la educación liberadora, considerando que el dominio de la lengua escrita y la lectura crítica posibilitan incrementar la calidad. de los resultados de las acciones educativas y se manifiestan positivamente en el entorno social, haciéndolo más justo y democrático.O presente artigo tem por objetivo mostrar como o desenvolvimento de práticas de leitura no ambiente escolar se constitui numa ferramenta essencial para a construção de um sistema educativo de efetiva qualidade, alinhado com o contexto em que os estudantes estão inseridos. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório bibliográfico de cunho qualitativo que buscou esclarecer a conceituação histórica do termo qualidade na/da educação e apresentar as discussões relacionadas aos parâmetros de qualidade a serem adotados no sistema educacional brasileiro a partir de obras de referência de Luiz Fernandes Dourado; Marcelo Mocarzel e Jorge Najjar; e Romualdo Portela de Oliveira e Gilda Cardoso de Araújo. Dessa forma, também, por meio do levantamento bibliográfico, buscou-se a compreensão dos processos que envolvem a leitura como um ato social, ferramenta essencial para a democratização da educação e implantação de uma sociedade mais justa, nas obras de Paulo Freire enquanto que para a discussão acerca da leitura e letramento literário, foram utilizadas as publicações de Magda Soares, Isabel Solé e Rildo Cosson.
