The concept of sympathy and its meaning for clinical psychology

Resumo: The central goal of this work is to introduce de concept of sympathy to the psychology, considering the perspective of the meeting and the notion of dialogic. Thus, we bring the concept of empathy, proposing that these two concepts constitute a theoretical explanatory dyad whose result is the increase in the effectiveness of a therapeutic encounter in the psychological clinic. It ends by pointing out possible sympathetic postures of the therapist, as well as care regarding the influence exerted in the process of social influence in psychotherapy.

Así, traemos el concepto de empatía, propniendo que estos dos conceptos se constituyen en una díada teórica explicativa cuyo resultado es el aumento de la eficacia de un encuentro terapéutico en la clínica psicológica. Finaliza señalando posibles posturas simpáticas del terapeuta, así como el cuidado en cuanto a la influencia ejercida en el proceso de influencia social en psicoterapia.O objetivo central deste trabalho é a introdução do conceito de simpatia na psicologia, levando em consideração a perspectiva do encontro e a noção de dialógica. Assim sendo, passa-se pelo conceito de empatia, propondo que estes dois conceitos se constituem em uma díade teórica explicativa cujo resultado é o incremento da eficácia de um encontro terapêutico na clínica psicológica.
