Interdisciplinaridade teórico-metodológica: o universo das representações de Peirce e Moscovici

Introduction: it presents an approach about the theoretical-methodological interdisciplinarity as a suggestion for research developments on the scope of applied social sciences, specifically: information science. In this article some theories from different areas of knowledge are addressed, including the semiotic pragmatism based on Logic and Philosophy, the theory of social representations that arises from Social Psychology, the Theory of Social Construction of Reality linked to Sociology. Objective: the purpose consisted of verify the relevance of some theories approached together in researches related to Information Science. Method: this article highlights the semiotic pragmatism, which is presented as path of reading and analysis of the process in which the signs are built, considering the language as a representation. The proposal is based mainly in the ideas of Charles Sanders Pierce, which were analysed in its set of ideas constantly reviewed by the author during his life. This article covers essentially the study of joint theories, formulated in different areas of knowledge. Conclusions: the conclusion is that the approaches used jointly are possible and relevant, yet to use the theories together demands the author to be very careful in his correlations and proposals.
