The present study aims to analysis from the use of geoenvironmental profiles based on relationship of the physical aspects and the interference of land use and occupation and the consequent social and environmental vulnerability for the river basin Biquinha, located in Barbosa Ferraz, Western central region of the State Paraná. The method follows the proposed horizontal and vertical representation of the environment of geoenvironmental profiles, set in the systems approach by Monteiro (2001). Was adapted the method used by Graça and Silveira (2009) and Sesco, Graça and Silveira (2010) to identify the social and environmental vulnerability. From the survey of the above mentioned features, the integration and synthesis of this information and observations in the field, established a socio and environmental diagnostic tool subsidize the establishment of environmental planning of the study area. The choice of three different transects according to the plurality of components of the environment allowed a diagnosis of the watershed for three sample tracks along the course (high, medium and low) and showed the social environmental vulnerability to variation in the rainfall regime, with the intensification of potential erosion, the probability of overflow, the removal of rocks and sediment deposition. The study area presents significant obstacles to the use and occupation of urban and rural land and restrictions that are highly aggravated with the intensification of rainfall during the summer and spring.Keywords: Geoenvironmental Profile; Geoecological Cartography; Social and Environmental Vulnerability; Barbosa Ferraz - PR.
