Defesa: Curitiba, 28/08/2009Inclui bibliografiaResumo: Esta pesquisa tem como propósito discutir a Educação Física escolar proposta pela Prefeitura Municipal a partir de uma perspectiva teórica da Escola de Frankfurt. Para tanto desenvolveu-se uma investigação pautada pela análise documental do Currículo Básico (1997) e das Diretrizes Curriculares (2006), textos que balizaram o trabalho desenvolvido pela rede municipal de ensino de Curitiba nos últimos anos e tem como objeto a cultura corporal do movimento. Trata-se de duas abordagens diferenciadas de Educação Física. Enquanto o Currículo Básico (1997), pautado por um referencial predominantemente marxista, aponta para um ensino voltado para transformação da realidade em um projeto político e coletivo, evidencia-se nas Diretrizes 2006 uma Educação Física permeada por um aporte teórico diversificado que tem como objetivo formar o aluno nas mais variadas áreas do conhecimento. A partir da análise dos elementos que conformaram estas propostas na Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba, buscou-se refletir acerca das possibilidades de uma Educação Física crítica em uma perspectiva frankfurtiana, estabelecendo-se um diálogo entre os documentos e alguns conceitos da Teoria Crítica, tais como: racionalidade instrumental, Indústria Cultural e semiformação, questões que se mostraram, no decorrer do estudo, imbricados à escola, ao currículo e às possibilidades de um ensino crítico. Nessa discussão, que evidentemente não se esgota, indica-se a possibilidade de se pensar uma educação crítica diante da razão instrumental que permeia a escola e sua organização pedagógica, apontando nesse sentido para a importância em se reconhecer o processo de adaptação em uma educação emancipadora; a importância de uma apropriação crítica frente aos programas curriculares, permeada por uma leitura dialética das orientações traçadas pelo currículo; a questão da autonomia no processo de emancipação; e, por fim, a necessidade de se combater a competitividade e a violência, princípios expressos nas aulas de Educação Física, que se configuram enquanto mecanismos geradores de barbárie, condição que impede uma educação para emancipação.Abstract: This research has as purpose to discuss the school physical education proposed by the City Hall starting from a theoretical perspective from the Frankfurt School. Therefore has been developed an investigation ruled by the documental analysis of the Basic Curriculum (1997) and the Curriculum Guidelines (2006), texts that have based the work developed by the municipal net teaching of Curitiba in the last years and have as object the corporal culture of the movement. It is about two different approaching of the physical education. While the Basic Curriculum (1997), ruled by a predominantly Marxist reference, aims to a teaching towards for the reality transformation in a political and collective project, it is evidenced in the Guidelines 2006 a Physical education permeated by a theoretical contribution diversified which has as objective to qualify the student in the most varied areas of the knowledge. Starting from the analysis of the elements that conformed these proposed at the Curitiba's City hall, was looked for to think about the ossibilities of a critical Physical Education in a Frankfurt perspective, settling a dialogue between the documents and some concepts of Critical Theory as: instrumental rationality, Cultural Industry and semi-qualification, subjects that were shown, in during the study, overlapped to the scho l, to the curriculum and the possibilities of a critical teaching.
