Defesa : Curitiba, 13/05/2016Inclui referênciasResumo: O objetivo da pesquisa é investigar a representação da identidade da mulher afro-latino-americana na 7ª edição do Festival da Mulher Afro-Latino Americana e Caribenha - Festival Latinidades, ocorrido entre os dias 23 a 28 de julho de 2014, em Brasília, a partir da análise dos audiovisuais produzidos durante o evento e disponibilizado no canal do Youtube do Acervo Cultne. Este estudo visa propor, sob o viés dos Estudos Culturais para fundamentar as discussões sobre identidade e subalternidade e estabelecer uma reflexão sobre a cultura e a identidade da mulher afro-latina-americana, uma vez que o conceito tem tido uso recorrente por parte dos movimentos sociais de mulheres negras e nas políticas afirmativas brasileiras e de outros países da América Latina signatários de documentos, tratados e convenções internacionais. O corpus deste estudo - o audiovisual no 7º Festival Latinidades - visa compreender como cultura e identidade afro-latina-americana são evidenciadas nos processos comunicacionais do evento. Para a interpretação de dados foi utilizado o método 'modos de endereçamento', uma alternativa de análise importante em estudos sobre cinema e televisão, pois endereçamentos presentes em audiovisuais podem ser capazes de captar a importância do espaço sociocultural da audiência no processo de produção midiática. O olhar para o Festival Latinidades e a forma como ocorrem os endereçamentos para as afro-latino-americanas procuraram refletir sobre como os movimentos sociais étnicos, enquanto compostos por sujeitos sociais em busca de reconhecimento e afirmação de identidade, criam estratégias próprias de comunicação. A pesquisa pretende contribuir para o conhecimento sobre a identidade da mulher afro-latino-americana e, por conseguinte, para os estudos sobre mídia e questão racial no continente. O estudo aponta que a identidade desta mulher, que é atravessada pelo gênero, raça, classe, pela condição de subalternidade no contexto latino americano e caribenho vem sendo construída para atuar em novos espaços políticos, propondo um diálogo interseccional para fortalecer as reivindicações de pautas específicas das mulheres negras, já que estas carregam em si as opressões de classe e de gênero.Abstract: The objective of the research is to investigate the representation of African-Latin American women identity in the 7th edition of the Afro-Latin American Women and Caribbean Festival/ Festival de Latinidades, held from 23 to 28 July 2014 in Brasilia, from the analysis of audiovisual producedduring the event and made available on Youtube Cultne Collection channel. This study aims to propose, under the view of Cultural Studies, and support discussions on identity and subordination the or yande stablish a reflection on culture and identity o fAfroLatin American women, since the concept has had recurrent use by the social movements of black women in Brazil's affirmative action policies and other Latin American countries signatories of documents, treaties and conventions. The corpus of this study - the audiovisual media in the 7th Festival Latinidades - aims to understand how culture and African-Latin American identity are hig lighted in the communication processes of the event. For data interpretation method was used 'addressing modes', an important analysis of alternative studies on film and television, as addressing mode sis present in audiovisuals maybe able to grasp the importance of socio-cultural audience space in the media production process. The attention to the Latinidades Festival tried to reflect on ethnic social movements and to how the addressing modes occur towards African-Latin American women, while it is composed of social subjects for recognition and identity affirmation, they create their own communication strategies. The research aims to contribute to the knowledge of African-Latin American women identity and, therefore, for studies on media and racial issues on the continent. The study indicates that this woman's identity, which is composed by gender, race, class, and is marked by the subordinate status in Latin America and Caribbean context, it has been built to act in new political spaces, proposing an intersectional dialogue to strengthen specific black women agenda claims, as they carry over class and gender oppressions.135 p. : il.
