Defesa : Curitiba, 19/12/2019Inclui referênciasÁrea de concentração: Manejo FlorestalResumo: Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o crescimento em volume e biomassa e suas relações com algumas variáveis da estrutura florestal, bem como avaliar a dinâmica da distribuição diamétrica com uso da função de Weibull e da Matriz de Transição. Para tal, foram utilizados dados de 40 parcelas permanentes de um hectare de área provenientes e floresta nativa manejada no município de Vitória do Jari, Estado do Amapá. Os tratamentos silviculturais foram estabelecidos combinando os níveis de exploração e desbastes com 0%, 15%, 25%, 30% e 0%, 30%, 50%, 70% respectivamente. Deste modo, foi avaliado o efeito destes tratamentos silviculturais nos incrementos periódicos anuais de volume e de biomassa. Analisaram-se as tendências dos incrementos em volume e biomassa em função da G (área basal), N.ha-1 (número de árvores por hectare), índice PV50 (indica a porcentagem do volume acumulado por 50% das árvores de menor diâmetro) e o índice de Shannon. Ajustaram-se as distribuições diamétricas observadas dos anos 1984, 1990 e 2011 usando a função de Weibull e comparadas com distribuições estimadas entre 1984 e 1990 assim como entre 1984 e 2011, pelo método de Qui-quadrado. Foi projetada a distribuição diamétrica para o ano de 2012, a partir de dados de 1994 e 2004 em cada tratamento analisado, usando a Matriz de Transição. Os resultados mostraram que os tratamentos silviculturais tiveram influência no incremento periódico anual em volume, biomassa, G e N.ha-1, tendo se destacado o tratamento T11 como o mais produtivo. O incremento em volume e em biomassa apresentaram tendência diretamente proporcional com a G, N.ha-1 e ao índice de Shannon bem como inversamente proporcional ao índice PV50. A função Weibull foi aderente pelo teste de Kolmogorov-Smirnov (p?0,05). A comparação das distribuições diamétricas entre os anos 1984 e 2011 mostrou que existem diferenças significantes dependendo dos níveis de intervenções e do tempo de recuperação da floresta. Com o uso da matriz de transição A distribuição diamétrica observada em 2011 e projetada para 2012 no tratamento T0 apresentou diferenças não significativas e nos tratamentos T7 e T11 a comparação foi significante estatisticamente. De forma geral, as diferentes intensidades de intervenções de manejo na Floresta Amazônica influenciaram no crescimento em volume e biomassa, assim como na distribuição diamétrica. Matriz de transição.Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate the growth in volume and biomass and their relationships with some forest structure variables, as well as to evaluate the dynamics of the diameter distribution using the Weibull function and the transition matrix. For this, data from 40 permanent plots of one hectare of area from Vitória do Jari were used. Silvicultural treatments were established by combining logging and thinning levels of 0%, 15%, 25%, 30% and 0%, 30%, 50%, 70% respectively. Thus, the effect of these silvicultural treatments on annual periodic volume and biomass increments was evaluated. The trends of volume and biomass increments as a function of G, N.ha-1, PV50 index (indicates the percentage of volume accumulated by 50% of the smallest diameter trees) and Shannon index were analyzed. The diameter distributions of the years 1984, 1990 and 2011 were adjusted using the Weibull function and the estimated distributions between 1984 and 1990 were compared, as well as between 1984 and 2011, using the Chi-square method. The diameter distribution was projected to the year. 2012 from 1994 and 2004 data on each treatment analyzed using the Transition Matrix. The results showed that the silvicultural treatments had an influence on the annual periodic increment of volume, biomass, G and N.ha-1, being T11 the best treatment. Increments in volume and biomass tend to be directly proportional to G, N.ha-1 and Shannon index and inversely proportional to PV50 index. Weibull function was adherent by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (p?0.05). Comparison of diameter distributions between 1984 and 2011 showed that there are significant differences depending on intervention levels and forest recovery time. Using the Transition Matrix, the diameter distribution observed in 2011 and projected to 2012 in treatment T0 were nonsignificant different and in treatments T7 and T11 the comparison was statistically significant. In general, the different intensities of management interventions in the Amazon Rainforest of Vitória do Jari Municipality in Amapá State influenced the growth in volume and biomass as well as in the diameter distribution.
