Para o controle dessa praga são utilizados produtos neurotóxicos, que podem desequilibrar as populações de seus inimigos naturais. Assim, foram realizados trabalhos de flutuação populacional de percevejos fitófagos e os níveis de parasitismo em seus ovos, em lavoura de soja no estado de Mato Grosso. Bem como avaliou-se o potencial reprodutivo dos parasitoides ocorrentes; o efeito de pesticidas sobre Telenomus podisi em laboratório; e a viabilidade do controle biológico (CB) para a supressão de percevejos, através de liberações de Te. podisi comparado ao manejo convencional (MC). Na safra 2012/13, na área MC, realizaram-se pulverizações de inseticidas para o controle de percevejos, e em CB foram liberadas na cultura 2.000 e 5.000 vespas ha-1 nos estádios R3 e R6 respectivamente, e na safra seguinte 1.700, 2.200 e 2.000 vespas ha-1 em R3, R4 e R5, respectivamente. Durante as safras 2011/12 e 2012/13, predominaram as espécies Euschistus heros e Te. podisi. Os picos populacionais de percevejos e de parasitismo em seus ovos ocorreram na fase de amadurecimento dos grãos. Em laboratório, o parasitoide de ovos Trissolcus urichi apresentou maior potencial na supressão de ovos de E. heros, porém com menor longevidade comparado a Te. podisi. Nos trabalhos de seletividade, o fungicida Azoxistrobina+Ciproconazol e o inseticida Lufenuron foram inócuos a Te. podisi. Tiametoxan apresentou-se inócuo sobre os estágios imaturos do parasitoide, porém comprometeu a capacidade reprodutiva das fêmeas. Tiametoxan+Lambda-cialotrina afetou o parasitismo, e foi levemente nocivo aos estágios ovo-larva e larva-pupa e inócuo para pupa-imago do parasitoide. A mistura Lufenuron e Azoxistrobina+Ciproconazol não interferiu no parasitismo de Te. podisi, mas reduziu a emergência quando aplicado no estágio ovo-larva. Tiametoxan misturado a Azoxistrobina+Ciproconazol reduziu o parasitismo, mas foi inócuo quando testado nos estágios imaturos. Tiametoxan+Lambdacialotrina adicionado a Azoxistrobina+Ciproconazol reduziu o parasitismo, mas foi menos nocivo quando testado nos estágios imaturos. Na comparação entre as áreas, na safra 2012/13, as populações de percevejos foram semelhantes e diferiram somente no estádio R5 (13/Fev), com maior média em MC. Em 2013/14, a área CB apresentou maior média de percevejos que no MC entre os estádios R5 (16/Jan) e R6 (06/Fev). O parasitismo entre as duas áreas não diferiu durante as safras 2012/13 e 2013/14, exceto em R6 (02/Mar) e R9 (25/Fev) respectivamente, com maiores picos em CB. Nas duas safras, o peso das sementes não diferiu entre as áreas. Em 2012/13, os danos de percevejos foram maiores em CB, já em 2013/14 não houve diferença no dano entre as áreas. As liberações de Te. podisi durante as duas safras não evitaram o crescimento populacional de E. heros, como também não aumentaram os níveis de parasitismo em relação ao MC, provavelmente devido ao número de parasitoides liberados, ter sido inferior ao recomendado (5.000 vespas ha-1). Palavras-chave: Controle biológico, controle químico, percevejo marrom, Telenomus podisi, Trissolcus urichi.Abstract: The productivity and soybean grain quality are reduced due to stink bugs feeding on the seeds. For its control, neurotoxic products are usually used, that can unbalance the natural enemy populations. This work evaluated the fluctuation of phytophagous stink bug populations and the levels of parasitism in their eggs on soybean in the Mato Grosso State. The reproductive potential of the parasitoids found in the field was evaluated; the effect of pesticides on the egg parasitoid Telenomus podisi was assessed in laboratory; and the viability of the biological control (BC) for the supression of stink bugs through inoculative releases of Te. podisi was compared with the conventional management (CM). In the 2011/12 season, applications of insecticides were made for the control of stink bugs, and in the BC area 2,000 and 5,000 wasps ha-1 were released at R3 and R6 stages of the crop, respectively, and in the following season 1,700; 2,200 and 2,000 wasps ha-1 at R3, R4 and R5, respectively. During the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons, the brown stink bug Euschistus heros and Te. podisi prevailed. The population peaks of stink bug and parasitism occurred in the maturation phase of the grains. In laboratory, the egg parasitoid Trissolcus urichi showed higher potential for the suppression of E. heros eggs compared to Te. podisi, but had a shorter lifespan than Te. podisi. In the selectivity study the fungicide Azoxystrobin+Cyproconazol and the insecticide Lufenuron were harmless to Te. podisi. Thiamethoxam was harmless to the immature stages of the parasitoid, however it reduced the reproductive capacity of the females. Thiamethoxam+Lambda-cyhalothrin affected parasitism, and were slightly harmful to egg-larval and larval-pupal stages and harmless to the pupal-adult stage of the parasitoid. The mixture of Lufenuron and Azoxystrobin+Cyproconazol did not interfere in the parasitism of Te. podisi, but reduced the emergence when applied in the egg-larval stage. Thiamethoxam mixed with Azoxystrobin+Cyproconazol reduced parasitism, but was considered harmless when applied on the immature stages. Thiamethoxam+Lambda-cyhalothrin more Azoxystrobin+Cyproconazol reduced the parasitism, but were less harmful to the imature stages. Comparing BC and CM areas, in 2012/13 soybean season the stink bug populations were similar and they only differed in the R5 stage (13/Feb), with higher mean in CM. In the 2013/14, the BC area presented larger number of stink bugs than CM between the R5 (16/Jan) and R6 stages (06/Feb). Parasitism between the two areas did not differ during the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons, except in R6 (02/Mar) and R9 (25/Feb) respectively, with higher peaks in BC. In the two seasons, the weight of a thousand seeds did not differ between the areas. In 2012/13, the damage of stink bugs was higher in BC, whereas in 2013/14 there was no difference in damage between the systems. Releases of Te. podisi during the two seasons did not avoid the population growth of E. heros, as well as it did not increase the levels of parasitism in relation to CM, probably due to the number of parasitoides released, lower to the recommended (5,000 wasps ha-1).
