Defesa : Curitiba, 2001Inclui referênciasÁrea de concentração : Estudos linguísticosResumo: O caráter patológico da linguagem dos pacientes afásicos dá sentido à clínica fonoaudiológica, ao permitir o surgimento de questões que demandam uma reflexão cuidadosa acerca dos empréstimos teóricos diversos e de seus pontos de intersecção. A temática desta dissertação relaciona-se, justamente, à linguagem do paciente afásico e às modificações, nesta, que o tratamento fonoaudiológico poderia promover, sem perder de vista o atravessamento de outras áreas do conhecimento, seja na forma de atuação do terapeuta, seja no direcionamento do olhar lançado no momento da análise dos dados lingüísticos. Afinal, embora já tenham sido publicados diversos trabalhos sobre a afasia, ainda há pouca produção acerca dos procedimentos terapêuticos utilizados quando da reabilitação do sujeito afásico. Esta constatação é ainda maior se a terapia proposta contraria as abordagens tradicionais de tratamento. A linguagem de um paciente afásico submetido a dois diferentes momentos terapêuticos serviu de inspiração a esta dissertação. Num primeiro momento, o paciente foi atendido por uma fonoaudióloga filiada a uma proposta tradicional de reabilitação; num segundo momento, este paciente foi acompanhado por uma profissional que conduziu sua terapia sem estar vinculada a uma proposta tradicional. O intuito deste trabalho, portanto, é refletir a respeito da influência dos dizeres da terapeuta sobre a produção lingüística do paciente, seja inibindo-a ou desencadeando-a. Para alcançar este intento, foi feita uma revisão de diferentes propostas de intervenção terapêutica junto a esses pacientes, de modo a promover uma reflexão crítica relativamente às estratégias discursivas utilizadas durante o acompanhamento fonoaudiológico dos sujeitos afásicos. Dessa maneira, foi possível levantar quais os procedimentos ou falas que, tomados pelo terapeuta, impediriam ou deflagrariam a fala do paciente.Abstract: The pathological feature of the aphasie patients language gives sense to the speech therapy clinic, allowing the appearance of issues that demand a careful reflection on the several theoretical borrowings as well as its intersection points. The thematic of this dissertation relates - in fact - to the aphasie patient's language and to its modifications, which the speech therapy treatment could provide without excluding the crossing of other areas of knowledge either through the therapist performance or the aim of the look at the time of the linguistic data analysis. Eventually, in spite of the fact that several pieces of writing about the aphasia have been published, there is still little production about the therapeutic proceeding used at the aphasie subject's rehabilitation. Such verification is even greater if the therapy presented goes against the traditional as approach of treatment. The language of an aphasie patient, submitted to two therapeutic moments were the reasons that inspired this dissertation. At a first moment, the patient was assisted by a speech therapist, bond to a traditional proposal of rehabilitation; at a second moment, this patient was assisted by a professional that conducted its therapy without being bond to a traditional proposal. Therefore, the intention of this writing is to reflect upon the influence of whatever the therapist says about linguistic production of the patient, either inhibiting it back or unleashing it. In order to reach such aim an, a review of different proposals of therapeutic intervention together with these patients was made, in a way to promote a relatively critical reflection to the discursive strategies utilized during the speech therapy assistance onto the aphasie subjects.
