Defesa: Curitiba, 23/10/2014Inclui referênciasLinha de pesquisa : Estudos costeirosResumo: As atividades turísticas praticadas em estuários geram impactos diversos no ambiente, os quais variam de acordo com as estratégias adotadas para gestão do turismo, hábitos e modos interação que os turistas estabelecem com os atrativos turísticos e população anfitriã. A partir desta premissa, o objetivo do presente trabalho é analisar a percepção de pescadores da Baía de Guaratuba sobre os impactos que a náutica e a pesca esportiva produzem no ambiente. Para tanto, o ambiente foi considerado como universo que envolve pescadores, peixes, crustáceos, moluscos, influenciado por condições do "tempo", das marés, astros e vento. A pesquisa apoiou-se na abordagem etnográfica, a partir de diálogos com nove interlocutores reconhecidos como detentores de conhecimento sobre o complexo estuarino da Baía de Guaratuba, que ali residem e praticam a pesca artesanal. Adotou-se como pressuposto a existência de uma diferenciação no modo como turista e "pescadores da baía" percebem o estuário. Diante disto, previamente à análise da percepção sobre a náutica, buscou-se compreender o modo de "envolvimento" e percepção dos interlocutores sobre o ambiente, em uma perspectiva que considera organismos humanos e não humanos, segundo Ingold (2002, 2012, 2013). Esse estudo constatou que os pescadores entrevistados possuem formas heterogêneas de perceber estes impactos, no entanto, alguns aspectos apontados foram recorrentes nos depoimentos obtidos. Os entrevistados mencionaram tensões geradas pela aplicação de normas e leis que favorecem a náutica em detrimento da pesca. Os resultados obtidos revelam que a percepção sobre a náutica é dúbia, pois eles consideram que, ao mesmo tempo em que a náutica contribui para geração de benefícios econômicos para moradores da região, ela desencadeia ou favorece tensões entre pescadores da Baía e os usuários das embarcações recreacionais. Ademais, foi possível notar que os impactos mais relevantes para os entrevistados são aqueles que influem na relação que os pescadores estabelecem com o ambiente, fazendo com que eles tenham que adaptar-se, alterando os ambientes frequentados para pesca artesanal, os períodos que pescam na baía e a quantidade de peixes que pescam na alta temporada do turismo. Conceber os pescadores como os condutores da pesquisa revelou uma nova perspectiva sobre os impactos, pois eles trouxeram elementos associados não apenas ao espelho d'água, mas à heterogeneidade das dimensões que influenciam a náutica. Diante dos resultados obtidos com a pesquisa, evidencia-se a necessidade de ordenar a atividade turística na Baía, criar mecanismos para proporcionar espaços de diálogo que possibilitem a articulação entre as diferentes esferas sociais que participam e influem na gestão do turismo no estuário; bem como definir o modelo de desenvolvimento turístico desejado, de modo a compatibilizar os anseios da população anfitriã às condições propícias e existentes para o desenvolvimento da atividade. TurismoAbstract: The tourist activities practiced in estuaries generate various impacts on the environment, which vary in accordance with the strategies adopted for tourism management, habits and ways that tourists interact with the tourist attractions and host population. From this premise, the main objective of this paper is to analyze the perception of fishermen of Guaratuba Bay of the impacts produced from the marine and sport fishing into the environment. In light of this, the environment was considered as a universe embracing fishermen, fish, crustaceans, mollusks, it is influenced by conditions of "weather", the sea, stars and wind. The research was supported by the ethnographic approach, from dialogs with nine partners who were recognized as holders of knowledge on the estuarine complex of Guaratuba Bay, who live in the area surrounding the bay and practice small - scale fishing. It has thus been adopted the assumption of a differentiation in how tourists and "fishermen of the bay" perceive the estuary. In this regard, prior to analysis of perception on the nautical, this paper attempted to understand the mode of "involvement" and perception of interlocutors on the environment, from a perspective that considers human and non-human, according to Ingold (2002, 2012, 2013). This study found that the interviewed fishermen have heterogeneous ways to understand these impacts, however, some aspects were common in all the statements obtained. The interviewees mentioned tensions generated by the application of rules and laws that favor the nautical to instead of fishing. The obtained results show that the perception about the nautical is dubious, because they consider that, at the same time that the nautical contributes to generation of economic benefits for the region's residents, it triggers or favors tensions between fishermen of the Bay and the users of recreational craft. Furthermore, it was possible to notice that the more relevant impacts to the respondents are those that influence on the involvement that the fishermen establish with the environment, making that they have to adapt themselves to this situation, changing environments frequented for artisanal fisheries, the periods that they use to fish in the bay and the quantity of captured fishes in high season for tourism. Making the fishermen as the drivers of the survey revealed a new perspective on the impacts of tourism, because they brought elements associated with not only the water, but the heterogeneity of dimensions that influence the marine area. In light of the results obtained with the research, it is highlights the need to sort the tourist activity in the Bay, to create mechanisms to provide spaces for dialog that will allow the linkage between the different social spheres that participate and influence on the management of tourism in the estuary, as well as define the model of tourism development, in order to match the desires of the host population to favorable and real conditions for the development of the activity.
