Defesa : Curitiba, 03/08/2022Inclui referências: p. 149-160Resumo: As narrativas audiovisuais desempenham uma função importante na construção de sentidos e demonstram traços históricos de hierarquias e pedagogias de gênero. Isso quer dizer que o cinema e outras produções em vídeo são um espaço de produção de saberes, claramente demarcado por identidade, sexualidade e por um conjunto de práticas e discursos que marcam corpos fora de um binarismo de gênero, principalmente de mulheres transgêneras. O desafio se encontra na intersecção entre esses dois campos por meio do objeto de estudo: a representação do corpo feminino a partir da recepção de mulheres transgêneras. Através das histórias de vida de mulheres transgêneras, a dissertação busca investigar as percepções e traduções das memórias de mulheres transgêneras sobre as narrativas audiovisuais e as negociações delas na constituição das suas identidades. Esse processo é realizado por meio do protocolo teórico-metodológico desenvolvido com base no método da história oral articulado com a técnica da história de vida, embasado pelo trabalho de pesquisadores como Paul Thompson, Mônica Martinez e Luis Jesús Galindo Cáceres. Com a pesquisa, a intenção é contribuir na criação de espaços de diálogos e na tentativa de compreensão das mulheres trans participantes do estudo sobre a representação de seus corpos no audiovisual. Em um mundo marcado por diversas formas de violência, mostra-se relevante pesquisar sobre as raízes e instrumentos de opressão, além de refletir como pensa esse perfil de mulheres, sobre quais processos e estratégias audiovisuais elas negociam e como constroem suas relações com as narrativas cotidianamente. A dissertação sugere, portanto, a riqueza encontrada em narrativas e vozes de mulheres transgêneras. Os resultados demonstram que elas articulam em seus relatos a representação do corpo feminino nas produções midiáticas e audiovisuais, traduzidos em seus cotidianos e marcados pela construção de sentidos ou orientação sobre suas identidades.Abstract: Audiovisual narratives play an essential role in the construction meanings and show historical traces of gender hierarchies and pedagogies. This means that cinema and other video productions are a space for the production of knowledge, that is clearly delineated by identity, sexuality and by a set of practices and discourses that mark bodies outside of a gender binary, spececially in transgender women. The challenge lies in the intersection between these two fields through the object of study: the representation of the female body through the reception of transgender women. Through the life stories of transgender women, the dissertation aims to investigate the perceptions and translations of transgender women's memories about audiovisual narratives and their negotiations in the constitution of their identities. This process will be carried out through a theoretical-methodological protocol based on the oral history method articulated with the life history technique, based on the work of researchers such as Paul Thompson, Mônica Martinez and Luis Jesús Galindo Cáceres. With the research, the intention is to contribute to the creation of spaces for dialogue and the attempt to understand the transwomen participating in the study about the representation of their bodies in the audiovisual. In a world marked by different forms of violence, it is relevant to explore the roots and instruments of oppression, in addition to reflecting on how this profile of women thinks, about which audiovisual processes and strategies they negotiate and how they build their relationships with narratives on a daily basis.The dissertation therefore suggests the richness found in the narratives and voices of transgender women.
