Defesa: Curitiba, 29/03/2017Inclui referências : fls. 255-267Resumo: A presente tese teve como estudo a análise da construção das representações sociais e espaciais dos agentes sociais (dominantes e dominados) na cidade-sede Curitiba-Paraná da Copa do Mundo de Futebol da FIFA 2014. Para identificar as representações sociais e espaciais partiu-se da hipótese de que o espaço geográfico é ocupado e produzido pelos agentes sociais. É um espaço social, onde emanam representações sociais distintas e subjetivas a respeito de um objeto ou fenômeno. Através das interações sociais entre os agentes sociais (dominantes/ dominados) em um campo filosófico esportivo prenunciam-se diálogos e se reproduzem enunciados, que são signos com carga ideológica definida, pois estes sujeitos (agentes sociais) sempre buscam defender, submergir, conquistar ou manter determinada dominação. Com a finalidade de produção e (re) produção de um espaço do esporte, os agentes sociais dominantes durante todo o processo histórico linear da Copa do Mundo discorreram discursos que tratavam da importância e dos benefícios oriundos da realização do megaevento esportivo no Brasil, estes compreendidos como legados econômicos, sociais e culturais. A construção dos discursos foi identificada no contexto de um território do futebol brasileiro, onde sociologicamente existe um campo esportivo de forças contraditórias de agentes sociais em diferentes posições. Este é um campo esportivo delineado nos apontamentos filosóficos da teoria dos campos de Bourdieu (2003). Para se compreender a análise sistemática dos discursos proferidos no território, o estudo subentendeu a trajetória de uma Geografia do Esporte nas três escolas epistemológicas da Geografia pós anos cinquenta. Entre elas a Geografia Teorética Quantitativa, Crítica Marxista e Geografia Humanista, com o objetivo de se identificar as peculiaridades e os impactos da criação de um espaço do esporte dentro de um contexto de um espaço social. O debate propõe se a pensar um espaço do esporte dialético, onde agentes sociais posicionaram-se com estratégias e jogadas que visavam defender os seus próprios interesses no jogo. A partir dos discursos em jogo, observou-se o delineamento e a construção das representações sociais e espaciais. Estas foram identificadas no processo de dominação que ocorreu entre agentes sociais que durante toda a construção do megaevento esportivo. A Copa do Mundo de Futebol da FIFA ocorreu no âmbito de um território pré-existente do futebol brasileiro, onde as tensões e conflitos aconteceram em doze cidades-sede. Nestes territórios e na cidade-sede Curitiba analisou-se os discursos ideológicos por meio da Análise do Discurso (AD) com o objetivo geral de se identificar as representações que foram construídas. O presente estudo também identificou os fatos que ocasionaram as tensões e conflitos sociais no território; a transformação e produção do espaço do esporte; e conclui com a identificação de um processo de dominação ideológica e que ocasionou a construção das representações sociais e espaciais dos agentes sociais dominantes e dominados. As representações foram identificadas por meio do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo (DSC) pós-megaevento Copa do Mundo de Futebol da FIFA 2014 na cidade-sede de Curitiba-Paraná.Abstract: The present thesis had the main goal the study of construction analysis of the of the social and spatial representations of the social agents (dominant and dominated) in the Curitiba-Paraná host city of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. In order to identify the social and spatial representations based on the hypothesis that geographic space is occupied and produced by social agents. It is a social space, where emanate distinct and subjective social representations about an object or phenomenon. Through social interactions between social agents (dominant / dominated) in a sporting philosophical field dialogues are predicted and statements are reproduced, which are signs with a defined ideological load, since these subjects (social agents) always seek to defend, submerge, conquer or maintain certain domination. With the purpose of production and (re) production of a space of the sport, the dominant social agents throughout all the linear historical process of the World Cup spoke discourses that dealt with the importance and the benefits derived from the accomplishment of the sport mega event in Brazil, these understood as Economic, social and cultural legacies. The construction of the discourses was identified in the context of a territory of Brazilian football, where sociologically there is a sports field of contradictory forces of social agents in different positions. This is a sports field outlined in the philosophical notes of Bourdieu's field theory (2003). In order to understand the systematic analysis of the speeches given in the territory, the study implied the trajectory of a Geography of Sport in the three epistemological schools of Geography after the fifties years. Among them the Quantitative Theoretical Geography, Marxist Criticism and Humanist Geography, with the objective to identify the peculiarities and impacts of the creation of a space of the sport within a context of a social space. The debate proposes to think of a space of the dialectical sport, where social agents positioned themselves with strategies and plays that aimed to defend their own interests in the game. From the discourses at stake, the design and construction of social and spatial representations was observed. These were identified in the process of domination that occurred between social agents during the entire construction of the mega-sport event. The FIFA World Cup took place within a preexisting territory of Brazilian football, where tensions and conflicts occurred in twelve host cities. In these territories and in the city of Curitiba, the ideological discourses were analyzed through Discourse Analysis (DA) with the general objective of identifying the representations that were constructed. Also, the present study identified the facts that caused the tensions and social conflicts in the territory; the transformation and production of sports space; and concludes with the identification of a process of ideological domination that led to the construction of the social and spatial representations of dominant and dominated social agents.
