Defesa : Curitiba, 12/03/2018Inclui referênciasResumo: Esta tese busca cotejar as duas primeiras propostas de formação para o trabalho profissional agrícola nos cursos de Iniciação Agrícola e Mestria Agrícola ofertados na instituição de ensino agrícola localizada no município de Araquari-SC, durante o recorte temporal de 1954 a 1967. Os objetivos são compreender o debate políticointelectual- legislativo em torno do ensino agrícola e os motivos de criação da Escola de Iniciação Agrícola de Araquari; entender como foi a constituição da infraestrutura da escola apontando suas especificidades; identificar profissionais e professores que trabalharam na instituição no período de 1954 a 1967, indicando os serviços que exerciam, quais suas funções e a formação acadêmica/escolar destes servidores; analisar mudanças e permanências nos currículos escolares, nas disciplinas e no perfil do ingressante correspondentes às três turmas do curso de Iniciação Agrícola (1959-1961) e nas seis turmas do curso de Mestria Agrícola (1962-1967), compreendendo especificidades de cada formação profissional para o trabalho agrícola. Utilizo fontes localizadas no Arquivo Institucional do IFC Campus Araquari, como Diários de Classe, documentos escolares dos ex-alunos, ofícios e portarias emitidos pela escola, como também os recebidos de órgãos ligados ao Ministério da Agricultura, ofícios do e para o Ministério da Agricultura depositados no Arquivo Público do Estado de Santa Catarina, bem como leis, decretos e mensagens de governadores, localizados na Assembleia Legislativa do Estado catarinense; documentos relativos ao tema agricultura, pertencentes à Coleção Acervo Bibliográfico, à coleção periódica em Língua Portuguesa e à Coleção Memória Tipográfica Série Periódico, localizados no Arquivo Histórico de Joinville, e exemplares do Jornal Joinville Rural, além de entrevistas coletadas com dois exalunos da instituição. Para auxiliar na construção do trabalho faço uso dos conceitos de Chartier (1988, 2009), representação e apropriação, para compreender as maneiras que determinados sujeitos e seus interesses implantaram uma escola voltada à educação agrícola na cidade de Araquari. Recorro também à conceituação de Goodson (1991) que trata o currículo escolar como uma tradição inventada e como uma construção social que visa atender certa finalidade política, econômica e cultura. Frente ao conceito de Dominique Julia (2001) sobre cultura escolar, utilizo-o, especificamente na premissa de evidenciar práticas escolares que foram sendo estabelecidas no interior da escola agrícola de Araquari. A tese é de que o perfil da formação profissional, pretendido aos estudantes na Escola ou no Ginásio Agrícola, nos dois cursos indicados para o estudo neste trabalho, foi a de um profissional que exercesse seu ofício na região de sua residência ou próxima a ela. Os ingressantes, na sua grande maioria, eram originários da área urbana dos municípios e a instituição ofereceu currículos pautados em disciplinas de caráter humanístico geral, alinhavado com disciplinas de cunho técnico agrícola e pecuário. Colégio Agrícola Senador Gomes de Oliveira.Abstract: This thesis seeks to compare the first two training proposals for agricultural professional work in the courses of Agricultural Initiation and Agricultural Mastery offered at the agricultural teaching institution located in the municipality of Araquari - SC, during the temporal cut from 1954 to 1967. The objectives are the To understand the political-intellectual-legislative debate about agricultural education and the reasons for the creation of the School of Agricultural Initiation of Araquari; Understand how the infrastructure of the school was constituted by pointing out its specificities; To identify professionals and teachers who worked in the institution from 1954 to 1967, indicating the services they performed, their functions and the academic / scholastic training of these employees; To analyze changes and permanencies in the profile of the student, in the curriculum and disciplines and in the school culture corresponding to the three classes of the Agricultural Initiation course (1959-1961) and in the six classes of the Agricultural Mastery course (1962- 1967), comprising specificities of each Vocational training for agricultural work and the reasons for changing the course offered by the institution. I use sources located in the Institutional Archives of the IFC - Campus Araquari, such as Class Diaries, alumni's school documents, official letters and ordinances issued by the school, as well as those received from agencies linked to the Ministry of Agriculture, offices of and for the Ministry of Agriculture Deposited in the Public Archive of the State of Santa Catarina as well as laws, decrees and messages of governors located in the Legislative Assembly of the State of Santa Catarina; Documents related to the theme of agriculture belonging to the Collection Bibliographic Collection, the periodical collection in Portuguese Language and the Collection Memória Tipográfica Series Periódico located in the Historical Archive of Joinville and the periodicals of the Journal Joinville Rural. To assist in the construction of the work I make use of the concepts of Chartier (1988, 2009), representation and appropriation, to understand the ways in which certain subjects and their interests implanted a school focused on agricultural education in the city of Araquari. I also refer to the concept of Goodson (1991) that treats the school curriculum as an invented tradition and as a social construction that aims to serve a certain political, economic and cultural purpose. In view of Dominique Julia's (2001) concept of school culture, I use it specifically in the premise of evidencing school practices that were being established inside Araquari's agricultural school. The thesis is that the profile of vocational training, intended for students in the School or Agricultural Gymnasium, in the two courses indicated for the study in this work, was that of a professional who exercised his or her office in the region of his or her residence or near it. The majority of the participants came from the urban area of the municipalities and the institution offered curricula based on general humanistic disciplines, aligned with disciplines of technical agricultural and livestock.
