Os aeroalérgenos são capazes de sensibilizar e levar ao desenvolvimento de doenças respiratórias alérgicas. Em uma mesma região, com o passar do tempo, podem ocorrer mudanças na distribuição destes aeroalérgenos da atmosfera, conforme as mudanças climáticas, poluição e atividades agroindustriais. O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar a presença e concentração do alérgeno principal da poeira da casca da soja (Gly m 1) na atmosfera da cidade de Maringá-PR e possíveis associações com fatores climáticos. A escolha da soja deve-se a alta prevalência desta cultura na região, bem como a presença de uma grande cooperativa de beneficiamento localizada na região urbana da cidade. Para tal, foram realizadas coletas de material atmosférico, por meio de um amostrador de material total, durante o período de Março de 2017 à Março de 2018. As coletas foram realizadas durante 24 ou 48 horas e foram distribuídas no decorrer do período, totalizando 70 amostras, das quais 10 foram excluídas por problemas técnicos durante a coleta. As amostras foram avaliadas pelo método ELISA (Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay) para Gly m 1. Todas as amostras apresentaram níveis dectectáveis de Gly m 1. Não houve diferenças estatísticas entre as concentrações dos filtros de 24 e 48 horas. A mediana de concentração de Gly m 1 foi de 4,89 ng/m3. Os valores encontrados variaram de 0,66 ng/m3 a 1826,1 ng/m3. Das 60 amostras analisadas, 23% delas apresentaram valores superiores a 90 ng/m3, sendo os meses de junho/2017 e março/2018 com concentrações mais elevadas. Houve correlação positiva das concentrações de Gly m 1 com os dados tratados em raiz cúbica com as temperaturas máxima, média e mínima, umidade relativa, vento e insolação. As correlações foram maiores com a exclusão dos valores extremos da (outliers). Por fim, os dados evidenciam exposições constantes da população ao alérgeno do Gly m 1, por vezes em níveis elevados possivelmente capazes de gerar sensibilização e sintomas. Aeroallergens are capable of sensitizing and leading to the development of allergic respiratory diseases. In the same region, over time, changes in the distribution of these aeroallergens in the atmosphere may occur, depending on climate change, pollution and agro-industrial activities. The aim of this study was to verify the presence and concentration of the main allergen from soybean bark dust (Gly m 1) in the atmosphere of the city of Maringá-PR and possible associations with climatic factors. The choice of soybeans is due to the high prevalence of this crop in the region, as well as the presence of a large processing cooperative located in the urban region of the city. For this, samples of atmospheric material were carried out, through a total material sampler, during the period from March 2017 to March 2018. The collections were carried out during 24 or 48 hours and were distributed throughout the period, totaling 70 samples, 10 of which were excluded due to technical problems during collection. The samples were evaluated by the ELISA (Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay) method for Gly m 1. All samples showed detectable levels of Gly m 1. There were no statistical differences between the concentrations of the filters at 24 and 48 hours. The median concentration of Gly m 1 was 4.89 ng/m3. The values found ranged from 0.66 ng/m3 to 1826.1 ng/m3. Of the 60 samples analyzed, 23% of them had values above 90 ng/m3, with the months of June/2017 and March/2018 having the highest concentrations. There was a positive correlation between the concentrations of Gly m 1 and the data treated in cubic roots with the maximum, average and minimum temperatures, relative humidity, wind and sunshine. The correlations were greater with the exclusion of the extreme values of (outliers). Finally, the data show constant exposures of the population to the Gly m 1 allergen, sometimes at high levels possibly capable of generating sensitization and symptoms.
