Defesa: Curitiba, 29/09/2015Inclui referências : fls. 163-168Resumo: Nesta pesquisa, a partir do viés da geografia, discutiu-se a categoria de Lugar e sua aplicação às Comunidades Eclesiais de Base(CEBs) da Diocese de Ji-Paraná/RO. Os objetivos do estudo foram: discutir a relação das CEBs com o Lugar, definido por Dardel; investigar se a ideologia defendida pelas CEBs visa dar um sentido à existência do Ser em suas relações espaciais; Analisar a geograficidade e o Lugar nos Documentos Episcopais Latino-americanos; e constatar se a concepção de Lugar, na visão dardeliana, é característica das CEBs e sua valorização pelos seguidores desse movimento. Partido dessa premissa, buscou-se descrever e interpretar o ser do fenômeno, livre de preconceitos, compreendendo sua essência e desvelando os elementos de significados, pelos relatos do ser religioso, com base em experiências vividas no âmbito das comunidades. Para isso, utilizou-se o método qualitativo de cunho fenomenológico, colocado em prática em diversas idas a campo, com o objetivo de compreender como eram e como se entendiam os membros e dirigentes e como se dava o funcionamento das CEBs. O levantamento dos dados aconteceu de 2012 até o primeiro semestre de 2015, período em que todas as paróquias da Diocese foram percorridas e foram realizadas diversas entrevistas, dentre as quais, seis foram selecionadas para uso direto das narrativas e análise posterior, em relação à categoria de Lugar e sua conexão com as CEBs. Os seis entrevistados, que autorizaram o uso de suas falas, foram escolhidos pela experiência vivida nas comunidades, pois possuíam histórias atuantes e conheciam o funcionamento, as perspectivas, os sentimentos e as necessidades dos membros espalhados pelos municípios ligados às CEBs. Através do processo em que o ser, em geral, se mostra - pelas manifestações singulares de sentido, expressas por meio da profusão dos entes - pode-se, então, constatar que a investigação desse ser só pode ser realizada pelo seu sentido, isto é, pelo caráter da experiência viva, concreta e histórica. Dessa forma, a pesquisa delineou um arrolamento entre a categoria geográfica em análise e os elementos dela existentes no discurso oficial através dos Documentos da Conferência Episcopal Latino-Americana (CELAM), no Diretório Diocesano e no discurso dos líderes entrevistados. Concluiu-se que o indivíduo tem a capacidade de ser, de existir e ter uma relação de serventia que ultrapassa o caráter subjetivo, permeando uma relação existencial e concreta com o Lugar, confirmando sua existência. Nessa sintonia, são necessárias ações concretas que modifiquem as realidades ali encontradas. Dessa forma a tese se configura ao mostrar a relação entre a categoria de Lugar e sua vivência nas Comunidades Eclesiais de Base da Diocese de Ji-Paraná - RO.Abstract: In this research, from the bias of Geography, there was discussed the category of analysis place and its application to the Ecclesial Base Communities (EBC) from Diocese of Ji-Paraná/RO. The objectives of the study were: to discuss the relationship of EBC with the place, defined by Dardel; to investigate if the ideology defended by EBC aims to give any meaning to the existence of Being in their spatial relationships; To analyze the geographicity and the place in Latin American episcopal documents; and to verify if the concept of place in the dardelian vision is characteristic of the EBC and its valuation by the followers of this movement. Based upon this premise was tried to describe and interpret the being of the phenomenon, free from prejudice, understanding its essence and revealing the elements of meaning, by reports of religious being, based on its experiences within communities. For this, we used the qualitative method of phenomenological nature, put into practice in several trips to field, with the objective to understand how they were and how they understood the members and leaders and how was the functioning of EBC. The assemble of the data occurred from 2012 until the first half of 2015, period which all parishes of the Diocese have been covered and were conducted several interviews, among which six were selected for direct use of narratives and subsequent analysis, in relation to category place and its connection to the EBC. The six interviewed, who authorized the use of their speeches, were chosen by the experience lived in the communities because they had acting stories and knew the operation, the prospects, the feelings and the needs of the members spread across the municipalities connected to the EBC. Through the process in which the being, generally, shows itself - by the natural manifestations of meaning, expressed through the profusion of beings - can be observed that the investigation of this being can only be done by your sense, that is, by the character of the living experience, concrete and historical. Thus, the research outlined an enrollment between the geographical category analyzed and elements of it exist in the official discourse through the documents of the Latin American Episcopal Conference (LAEC), the diocesan directory and in the speech of the interviewed leaders. It was concluded that the individual has the ability to be, to exist and have a servitude relationship that goes beyonds the subjective character, permeating an existential and concrete relationship with the place, confirming its existence. In this syntony, are necessary concrete actions that change the realities founded there.
