Defesa: Curitiba, 22/02/2017Inclui referências : f. 33-36;58-59;78-81;84-86Resumo: O estudo do tema da agressão dental na Gestalt-terapia (GT) é pouco comum, pois a teoria da agressão é apresentada de forma confusa nas obras de Fritz Perls, o que torna a pesquisa em cima dessa temática pouco conclusiva e um desafio. A presente pesquisa visou ao estudo dessa teoria, discutindo o significado do tema e suas origens a partir das obras de Fritz Perls e de Laura Perls, das obras de Freud pertinentes à investigação das origens da teoria, de outras produções não psicanalíticas, e também a partir de discussões realizadas na GT brasileira e americana. Objetivou-se: resgatar as origens do conceito, cujas raízes encontram-se principalmente na psicanálise freudiana, averiguação esta que permitiu observar uma ausência de clareza na leitura de Fritz Perls sobre o tema da agressão em Freud, laços frouxos entre essa teoria e sua fonte na psicanálise e certa negligência para com Laura Perls na formulação da teoria da agressão e para com outras fontes não psicanalíticas na origem da teoria; verificar o significado da noção de "agressão" para Fritz Perls, o que se bifurcou no estudo dos dois tipos de agressão - dental e hostil - discutidos em suas obras. Nessa verificação observou-se, ainda, que a temática da agressão vai enfraquecendo ao longo das obras, e que a teoria da agressão é desenvolvida de forma pouco nítida, especialmente no que tange à relação entre agressão dental e hostil, embora tenha ficado claro o papel da agressão, para Fritz, enquanto função biológica necessária à preservação da vida em sentido biológico e vivencial, sendo a mediadora do contato com o meio; traçar uma discussão da literatura brasileira e estrangeira de GT, discussão essa que evidenciou que o debate na literatura utilizada igualmente orbitou em torno das lacunas presentes na relação entre a agressão dental e a agressão hostil, a partir do que pôde-se perceber que há uma compreensão comum à comunidade gestáltica da agressão como função biológica e como contato, enfatizando seu papel positivo. Contudo, na literatura estrangeira, notadamente mais avançada, os estudos conduzem mais ao campo da agressão hostil e à análise de sua positividade e negatividade, ao passo que a agressão dental permanece no limbo. Com isso, concluiu-se que o assunto merece maior destaque e pesquisas, somado ao fato de que não foram encontrados trabalhos que buscaram reprovar ou aprovar a teoria da agressão dental, e na clínica restou a dúvida sobre se é positivo ou não frustrar a expressão agressiva do cliente. As análises das obras de Fritz foram feitas a partir da leitura cronológica das suas quatro produções (a obra Gestalt-terapia explicada não foi incluída por não abarcar a matéria em exame) que contemplam a referida teoria, e de um capítulo sobre agressão constante em uma obra de John Stevens. Palavras-Chave: Agressão dental; Agressão hostil; Gestalt-terapia brasileira; Gestalt-terapia americana; Psicanálise; Clínica.Abstract: The study of the subject of dental aggression in Gestalt-therapy (GT) is uncommon, since the theory of aggression is presented in a confusing way in the works of Fritz Perls, which makes the research on this subject very inconclusive and a challenge. The present research aimed at the study of this theory, discussing the meaning of the theme and its origins from the works of Fritz Perls and Laura Perls, from Freud 's works pertinent to the investigation of the origins of the theory, other non - psychoanalytic productions, and also from the Brazilian and American GT. The aim of this study was to recover the origins of the concept, whose roots are found mainly in Freudian psychoanalysis, which allowed us to observe an absence of clarity in Fritz Perls's reading on the subject of aggression in Freud, loose ties between this theory and its source In psychoanalysis and a certain negligence towards Laura Perls in the formulation of the theory of aggression and towards other non-psychoanalytic sources in the origin of the theory; the objective was also to verify the meaning of the notion of "aggression" for Fritz Perls, which bifurcated in the study of the two types of aggression - dental and hostile - discussed in his works. In this verification, it was also observed that the issue of aggression is weakening throughout the works, and that the theory of aggression is developed in a rather unclear way, especially regarding the relationship between dental and hostile aggression, although it has become clear the role of aggression, for Fritz, as a biological function necessary for the preservation of life in a biological and experiential sense, being the mediator of contact with the environment; Another objective was to draw a discussion of the Brazilian and foreign literature of GT, a discussion that evidenced that the debate in the literature used also orbited around the gaps in the relationship between dental aggression and hostile aggression, from which one could perceive that there is a Common understanding of the gestalt community of aggression as a biological function and as a contact, emphasizing its positive role. However, in foreign literature, notably more advanced, the studies lead more to the field of hostile aggression and the analysis of its positivity and negativity, while the dental aggression remains in limbo. Therefore, it was concluded that the subject deserves greater prominence and research, added to the fact that no studies were found that sought to disapprove or approve the theory of dental aggression, and in the clinic context remained the doubt as to whether it is positive or not to frustrate the expression of the aggressive behavior of the client. The analyzes of the works of Fritz were made from the chronological reading of his four productions (the work Gestalt Therapy Verbatim was not included because it does not include the subject under examination) that contemplate the said theory, and of a chapter about aggression present in John Stevens' work.
