O presente trabalho refere-se a uma nova opção encontrada em vários países no mundo inteiro, o sistema bike sharing, uma tendência das grandes cidades, que favorece o uso compartilhado da bicicleta e da intermodalidade urbana. O sucesso nesse quesito representa um aumento na qualidade de vida dos habitantes da cidade e principalmente, no turismo. Curitiba, a capital paranaense é famosa por suas ações sustentáveis, pela criação do BRT – Bus Rapid Transit (transporte rápido de ônibus) e atualmente, se torna também pioneira na instituição da Lei da Bicicleta, a Lei n.º 14.594 que determina que 5% das vias urbanas sejam destinadas à construção de ciclofaixas e ciclovias, de maneira integrada ao transporte coletivo. Desta forma, o objetivo da presente pesquisa foi analisar a possibilidade da implantação do sistema bike sharing integrado ao sistema de transporte público da cidade de Curitiba. Para a execução deste trabalho realizou-se uma pesquisa quantitativa, de caráter exploratório e descritivo, através de levantamento bibliográfico sobre o tema, além da aplicação de questionários com os moradores usuários de bicicleta e turistas da cidade de Curitiba. Detectou-se com a pesquisa de campo que mesmo Curitiba sendo famosa por sua imagem de uma cidade inteligente ( smart city), sustentável e inovadora, esta ainda deixa a desejar na qualidade de suas ciclovias, ciclofaixas, na segurança e na atenção aos ciclistas. Porém percebeu-se que pelos dados obtidos, o sistema de compartilhamento de bicicletas será bem aceito e utilizado pelos respondentes moradores e turistas da cidade.Abstract : To minimize the problems caused by traffic, some cities have sought solutions for improving the means of transport, using traditional methods such as construction of new modes or new facilities, where through them it is possible to increase the efficiency of transit, reducing the time spent and cost of travel and consequently reducing the pollution generated. The present study refers to a new option found in several countries around the world, the system bike sharing , a trend of big cities, which favors the shared use of the bike and urban intermodality. The success in this question represents an increase in the life's quality of the inhabitants in the city and especially tourism. Curitiba, the capital of the state of Paraná is famous for the sustainable actions, by the creation of the BRT - Bus Rapid Transit and currently, it is also a pioneer in the institution of the Law No. 14,594 which determines that 5% of urban roads are intended for the construction of bike lanes and bike paths, in an integrated manner to collective transport. In this way, the objective of this research is to analyze the possibility of deployment of the system bike sharing integrated with public transport system of the city of Curitiba. For the implementation of this work was conducted a quantitative study, exploratory and descriptive study, through literature review on the subject, and the use of questionnaires with the residents user rental and tourists from the city of Curitiba. It was detected with the field research that even the city is famous for its image of a smart city ( smart city), sustainable and innovative, this still leaves much to be desired in the quality of their bike lanes, bike lanes, safety and attention to cyclists. However it was noticed that most of the responses obtained, the sharing of bikes will be well accepted and widely used by the answer residents and tourists in the city.107 p. : il.
