Defesa: Curitiba, 22/11/2016Inclui referências : f. 105-108Resumo: A fim de refletir sobre as formas de construção de agentes na posição de voluntários em uma instituição assistencial religiosa, este estudo busca descrever e analisar as práticas observadas na Associação Batista de Ação Social, uma instituição pertencente à Primeira Igreja Batista de Curitiba. O acompanhamento de alguns projetos ao lado dos voluntários, facultou-me a oportunidade de observar quais os termos presentes nas suas atividades cotidianas: a relação com o "outro" se traduz em diferentes modos de "ajuda". Compreendo tais práticas como habilidades construídas a partir de uma "educação da atenção", de acordo com o que propõe Tim Ingold (2010). Ao entrar em contato com cada contexto de ação, os novos voluntários vão, aos poucos, observando e incorporando práticas já estabelecidas a partir de sua percepção. Neste contexto, mais relevante que lideranças formais que estabelecem e transmitem expressamente certas regras de conduta, é justamente na relação entre voluntários que certos padrões vão sendo estabelecidos e servindo como modelo para a formação constante de novos agentes. Palavras-chave: voluntariado; assistência social; educação da atenção.Abstract: In order to reflect on the ways of building agents in the volunteer position at a religious care institution, this study search to describe and analyze the practices observed in the Baptist Social Action Association, an institution belonging to the First Baptist Church from Curitiba. The monitoring of some projects alongside volunteers, allowed me the opportunity to observe what these terms in their daily activities: the relationship with the "other" translates into different ways to "help." I understand such practices as skills built from an "education of attention," according to the proposing Tim Ingold (2010). To contact each context of action, new volunteers will gradually observing and incorporating practices established from their perception. In this context, more relevant than formal leaders who establish and expressly convey certain rules of conduct, it is the relationship between volunteers that standards are being established and serving as a model for constant training of new agents.
