Resumo: This study aimed to apply techniques of tissue culture in different hybrids of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) To the in vitro conversion of zygotic embryos for seedling production mudasviáveis to be available in the state of Pará. Experiment was conducted at Embrapa Amazônia Oriental, Belém-PA. The methodology was the application of aseptic practices embryo isolation, embryo culture, and conversion into plantlets acclimatization of these. Seventeen hybrids were subjected to disinfection and sterilization with subsequent inoculation in media MS, ½ MS, Y3 and Y3 ½. The inoculated flasks were placed in a culture room under a photoperiod of 16 h light day-1, with light intensity of 25 micromol s-1 and temperature of 25 ± 3 ° C. The experimental design was a completely randomized 3 x 4 After germination and growth of embryos, as the oxidation CN 470 genotypes in MS treatments and half Y3 showed no rust, and this had to be more appropriate for the development of root length. Genotypes were as indicated for the conversion of zygotic embryos of hybrid oil palm seedlings in viable to acclimatization in extract vermiculite and nutrient solution, the CN 514 amid Y3 was the most viable. Three months was possible to convert the hybrid embryos of oil palm until the formation of plantlets.

Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia/UFRA2011-05-19info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://ajaes.ufra.edu.br/index.php/ajaes/article/view/59Amazonian Journal of Agricultural Sciences Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; Vol 53 No 2 (2010): RCA; 177-181Revista de Ciências Agrárias Amazonian Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; v. 53 n. 2 (2010): RCA; 177-1812177-87601517-591Xreponame:Revista de Ciências Agrárias (Belém.
