Resumo: Amazonian ecosystems are rich in plants with medicinal properties, including the Arrabidaea chica, commonly known as Pariri. Studies on mineral nutrition of Pariri are nonexistent, therefore, this work aims to evaluate the effect of omission of macronutrients on growth, symptoms of nutritional deficiency and mineral composition of plants Pariri through experiment in a greenhouse by technique missing element in nutrient solution Bolle-Jones. The experimental design was completely randomized with four replications and seven treatments. The treatments were completed (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S and micronutrients) and with the omission of (N, P, K, Ca, Mg and S). The omission of micronutrients affected growth in height, diameter and plant dry matter production, compared to the complete treatment. The first symptoms of deficiency occurred in plants subjected to omission of N and Ca, followed by P, S, K and Mg. With bases in g.kg-1 levels in the macronutrients in the leaves, the following values in full treatments and have met with failure: C = 12.87 and 4.23; P = 3.75 and 2.58; K = 26.58 and 23.71; Ca = 13.87 and 12.27; Mg = 4.40 and 3.40; respectively.

Estudos sobre nutrição mineral do pariri são inexistentes, assim sendo, este trabalho tem por objetivo avaliar o efeito da omissão de macronutrientes no crescimento, nos sintomas de deficiência nutricionais e na composição mineral de plantas de pariri por meio de experimento em casa de vegetação, mediante a técnica do elemento faltante em solução nutritiva de Bolle-Jones. O delineamento experimental foi o inteiramente casualizado, com quatro repetições e sete tratamentos. Os tratamentos foram completos (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S e micronutrientes) e com omissão individual de (N, P, K, Ca, Mg e S). As omissões dos micronutrientes afetaram o crescimento em altura, diâmetro das plantas e produção de matéria seca, quando comparados ao tratamento completo. Os primeiros sintomas de deficiência ocorreram em plantas submetidas a omissão de N e Ca, seguidas de P, S, K e Mg.
