Resumo: | To evaluate the effect of inoculation with rhizobia in the acapu igapó (Swartzia argentea Benth.) And saboarana (S. laevicarpa Amshoff.), Seeds of these species were germinated in sand and transplanted into bags with 2-3 kg of soil Argisol red Yellow and Yellow Oxisol, respectively. Eight strains of rhizobia isolated Swartzia were used as inoculant. The treatments were: control; plants fertilized with urea; inoculation with rhizobia. The trial was conducted in the nursery and the design was completely randomized with three treatments with eight (acapu the igapó) and fifteen (saboarana) repetitions. At harvest, we determined the number of nodes, the weight of leaves, stems, roots and nodules dry, leaf N concentration and total N. Inoculation with rhizobia is an alternative supply of N to plants in the nursery phase, contributing to the formation of seedlings with well established nodules, suitable for permanent planting. The supply of N in the N-mineral has inhibitory effects on the property of nodules. Seedlings acapu the igapó saboarana and have good development, growth, nodulation and nitrogen absorption when inoculated with rhizobia strains of the same genus, suggesting that inoculation techniques are better exploited with agroecological principles. |

Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia/UFRA2011-08-19info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://ajaes.ufra.edu.br/index.php/ajaes/article/view/104Amazonian Journal of Agricultural Sciences Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; Vol 54 No 1 (2011): RCA; 52 - 60Revista de Ciências Agrárias Amazonian Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; v. 54 n. 1 (2011): RCA; 52 - 602177-87601517-591Xreponame:Revista de Ciências Agrárias (Belém.
