Fungitoxicity in vitro ACTION AND PROTECTIVE AND HEALING OF ESSENTIAL OILS AGAINST Crinipellis pernicious

Resumo: Fungitoxicity of tests in vitro against C. perniciosa, causal agent of the witch broom disease of cocoa, were made with the essential oils of Piper aduncum, P. callosum, and Cymbopogon nardus. Home-of-the vegetation protective and healing effects of the oils were evaluated in cocoa seedlings (Theobroma cacao), inoculated with basidiospores of C. Pernicious. To evaluate the protective effect, the plants were treated with the oils at a concentration of 3000 ppm and inoculated with a suspension de1 x 105 spores / mL three days after the treatment. The curative effect was evaluated in previously inoculated and treated with oils third day following. The results showed that in vitro studies of P. aduncum oil was the most effective, resulting in 100% inhibition in the growth and germination at a concentration of 100 ppm, while oil callosum and P. C. nardus caused inhibition germination and growth in concentrations above 500 ppm. Concerning the results of trials greenhouse, protective and curative control of the P. aduncum oil, with an incidence of 15 and 20%, respectively disease was observed.

Em casa-de-vegetação os efeitos protetor e curativo dos óleos foram avaliados em mudas de cacaueiro (Theobroma cacao), inoculadas com suspensão de basidiósporos de C. Perniciosa. Para avaliar o efeito protetor, as plantas foram tratadas com os óleos na concentração de 3000 ppm e inoculadas com uma suspensão de1 x 105 esporos/mL três dias após o tratamento. O efeito curativo foi avaliado em plantas previamente inoculadas e tratadas com os óleos três dias após. Os resultados revelaram que nos ensaios in vitro o óleo de P. aduncum foi o mais efetivo, causando inibição em 100% no crescimento e na germinação na concentração de 100 ppm, enquanto que os óleos de P. callosum e C. nardus causaram inibição do crescimento e da germinação nas concentrações acima de 500 ppm.
