Resumo: The study was conducted to evaluate different volumes (mL) of water and substrate temperatures (° C) in germinating seeds Gao Mulateiro (Peltogyne paniculata Benth.). The seeds were germinated in roles germitest paper (three sheets / roll), previously moistened with distilled water equivalent to 1.5; 2.0; 2.5 and 3.0 ml / g paper, without further addition of water. The roles were packed in transparent plastic bags of 0.04 mm and placed in a chamber with constant temperatures of 25, 30 and 35 ° C. The evaluation parameters were: germination percentage, speed of germination, length of the primary root and hypocotyl. The experimental design was completely randomized, factorial 4 x 3 Each treatment consisted of 100 seeds (four replicates of 25 seeds per treatment). The different water levels and temperature influenced both the percentage and the germination rate of the species under study. The best temperatures for all parameters evaluated were 25 and 30 ° C. 0 water flow of 2.5 mL / g paper showed better percentage and germination speed index (GSI), and 3.0 mL / g paper favored the lengths of primary root and hypocotyl.

Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia/UFRA2011-05-25info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://ajaes.ufra.edu.br/index.php/ajaes/article/view/243Amazonian Journal of Agricultural Sciences Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; Vol 48 No 1 (2007): RCA; 193 - 204Revista de Ciências Agrárias Amazonian Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; v. 48 n. 1 (2007): RCA; 193 - 2042177-87601517-591Xreponame:Revista de Ciências Agrárias (Belém.
