Aqueous extract of rosemary-pepper on purple nutsedge management

Resumo: Studies with rosemary -pepper show that this species has the potential allelopathicon weeds , among which stands out the weed. In this study , we evaluatedthe effects of concentration of aqueous extracts of rosemary -pepper in the developmentof purple nutsedge tubers . The treatments consisted of aqueous extracts ofrosemary -pepper at concentrations of 0 , 10 , 20 , 30 , 40 , 50 , 60 and 70 % in cash gerboxtransparent containing coarse washed sand and ten healthy tubers of nutsedge spreadevenly along the container. The increase in the dose of rosemary extract -peppercaused a reduction in the percentage of emergence and emergence rate indexpurple nutsedge seedlings , as well as the inhibition of their development. in the largerconcentrations , the extracts showed higher number of tubers that did not emerge andwith advanced deterioration. The maximum effect was obtained at concentrations higher than 50 %Extract of rosemary peppermint, decreasing the length and seedling vigor nutsedge .

Neste trabalho, foram avaliados os efeitos da concentração de extratos aquosos de alecrim-pimenta no desenvolvimento de tubérculos de tiririca. Os tratamentos consistiram da aplicação de extratos aquosos de alecrim-pimenta, nas concentrações de 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 e 70%, em caixa gerbox transparente contendo areia grossa lavada e dez tubérculos sadios de tiririca, distribuídos uniformemente ao longo do recipiente. O aumento na dose do extrato de alecrim-pimenta provocou redução da porcentagem de emergência e do índice de velocidade de emergência das plântulas de tiririca, assim como a inibição do seu desenvolvimento. Nas maiores concentrações, os extratos apresentaram maior número de tubérculos que não emergiram e com avançada deterioração.
