Resumo: | Faced with the need to implement the rational cultivation of açaí palm (Euterpe oleracea Mart.) In the Amazon and increase awareness regarding the nutritional aspect and fertilization, we conducted the experiment in a greenhouse at Embrapa Amazônia Oriental, the technique of the missing element, with the aim of characterizing the visual symptoms of nutritional deficiency of macronutrient and boron, and evaluate growth by height, circumference of the girth, number of leaves and dry weight of plants açaizeiro. The design was completely randomized with four replications and eight treatments (complete with omission of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur and boron). Visual deficiency symptoms were generally easy characterization for all macronutrients and boron. The omission of all macronutrients limited the growth of plants in height in relation to the complete treatment. Calcium showed no difference in the collar circumference variable and number of leaves. The number of sheets of treatments with açai omission of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium was significantly reduced compared to the full treatment. The decreasing in dry matter production with the omission of treatments was: N> P> K> Mg> S> B. |

The decreasing in dry matter production with the omission of treatments was: N> P> K> Mg> S> B.Diante da necessidade de se implementar o cultivo racional do açaizeiro (Euterpe oleracea Mart.) na Amazônia e aprimorar o conhecimento no que diz respeito a seu aspecto nutricional e adubação, conduziu-se experimento em casa de vegetação na Embrapa Amazônia Oriental, mediante técnica do elemento faltante, com o objetivo de caracterizar os sintomas visuais de deficiência nutricional de macronutrientes e boro, e avaliar o crescimento, através da altura, circunferência do coleto, número de folhas e massa seca das plantas de açaizeiro. O delineamento utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado com quatro repetições e oito tratamentos (completo e com omissão de nitrogênio, fósforo, potássio, cálcio, magnésio, enxofre e boro). Os sintomas visuais de deficiência foram de modo geral de fácil caracterização para todos os macronutrientes e boro. A omissão de todos os macronutrientes limitou o crescimento das plantas em altura em relação ao tratamento completo. O cálcio não evidenciou diferença na variável circunferência do coleto e número de folhas. O número de folhas de açaizeiro dos tratamentos com omissão de nitrogênio, fósforo e potássio foi reduzido significativamente em relação ao tratamento completo.
