Resumo: This work aims to evaluate different substrates and doses of controlled-release fertilizer in the seedling production of açaí. For this, we performed this experiment under conditions of house * Vegeta in Orchard, Federal University of Lavras (MG) from November 2002 to July 2003 0 experimental design was a randomized complete block in factorial 6 x 2 design with four replications and three plants per plot. The treatments consisted of doses of controlled-release fertilizer (15-10-10): 0; 1.0; 2.0; 4.0; 6.0 and 8.0 kg.m-3 substrate and substrates: A (FYM + coffee + charcoal + sand and soil in the ratio of 1: 1: 1: 1: 2 v / v) and substrate B (Plantmax + coffee + saw + p6 sand and soil in the ratio of 1: 1: 1: 1: 2 v / v the variables were seedling height, / lamer ° sheets, = feria drought shoot and roots.'s controlled-release fertilizer (15-10-10) up to a dose of 4 kg.m3 substrate and the use of substrate B (composed of Plantmax, coffee husk, p6 saw, sand and soil at 1: 1: 1: 1: 2 v / v) proved to be a good alternative substrates for producing seedlings açaizeiro quality.

Para isso, realizou-se o presente experimento em condições de casa de vegeta*, no Pomar da Universidade Federal de Lavras (MG) no período de novembro de 2002 a julho de 2003. 0 delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de blocos casualizados em esquema fatorial 6 x 2, com quatro repetições e três plantas por parcela. Os tratamentos constituíram-se das doses de fertilizante de liberação controlada (15-10-10): 0; 1,0; 2,0; 4,0; 6,0 e 8,0 kg.m-3 de substrato e dos substratos: A (esterco de curral + casca de café + carvão vegetal + areia e solo na proporção de 1:1:1:1:2 v/v) e substrato B (Plantmax + casca de café + p6 de serra + areia e solo na proporção de 1:1:1:1:2 v/v As variáveis avaliadas foram altura das mudas, /lamer° de folhas, =feria seca da parte aérea e raiz.
