A logística militar na Grécia Antiga: um estudo da obra de Tucídides

The present work has as objective to bring the importance of the logistic questions in the History of the Peloponnesian War, of Thucydides. From the analysis of this work, we tried to show how the logistics were fundamental for the development of the military activities in Ancient Greece, being essential for the development of the operations. Moreover, from this study, we also sought to show how instruments and concepts of the modern Business Logistics were already present, even if not consciously, in military activities that took place in a period as remote as the Peloponnesian War. We also present maps created from the description of some routes mentioned by Thucydides.
