Resumo: From an analysis of the relationship between knowledge and the concept of body, this paper examines the path that began with the philosopher who scored modernity, René Descartes. Given the perspective of reflecting on the considerable changes that have occurred in the design of this philosopher from what he understood by the body, seek the reality of the artificial intelligence methods to explain the new perspective of man. Scientific advances and technological tools to produce increasingly expand the human senses, in addition to artificial intelligence may also yield to man a new conception of mind and consciousness.

Tendo em vista a perspectiva de refletir sobre as mudanças consideráveis que ocorreram na concepção desse filósofo em relação ao que ele entendia por corpo, buscamos na realidade contemporânea da inteligência artificial meios de explicar a nova perspectiva de homem.
