Resumo: | The article intends to deal with a theme present in Discourses on the first decade of Titus Livius, as well as in other Machiavelli texts. The theme is the good man full of virtù and its role in the foundation of the legal-political field. The first issue is the method in Machiavelli. After, the concept of virtù will be analyzed in terms of its importance for the establishment and maintenance of legal-political field in the city. |
