Resumo: The dissertação has for subject the concept of Pathos in the philosophy of Kierkegaard. The importance of the passion (pathos) for the Absolute one related to the suffering (pathos) in the different ways of existence standes out: aesthetic, ethical and religious. The suffering, lived in depth, is understood by the Danish as condition necessary so that the man if becomes a “individual” and can, thus, to become related it the “Entirely Other”.
