Absence and subjection to the present: on the ontology of these times in Michel Foucault

Resumo: The irrecusable consolidation of an expansion-consumption-tolerance regime rectifies every symbolic manifestation of the present in a common life. The symptoms of today's civilization of consumption, in subjectivities and in their bodies, sum up the composition of suitable orders - of individual and collective relations - under the signs of economic development, legal guarantees, vulgar erotomania, and banal liberalities; who have magnetized themselves, minions, at all levels of experience and culture in the present time. The present signs and codes of a kind of generalized indifference convolve all the complex structures and performances of power into increasingly precise scripts, upon which the desubstantiation of reality and the experiences of a paroxysmal absence become ontologically imprinted. In our attempt to analyze and unleash the new reality of technology, control and consumption without locks, we will evoke the last Foucault, who formulates - in the synthesis of an original ontology of the present - the prospect of possible new ethical dispositions of the subjects and their bodies, specifically by updating a singular aesthetization of their own existences.

Los síntomas de la civilización del consumo actual, en las subjetividades y en sus cuerpos, resumen la composición de los sucesivos órdenes -de relaciones individuales y colectivas- bajo los signos del desarrollo económico, las garantías legales, la erotomanía vulgar y las liberalidades banales; que se han magnetizado a sí mismos, minions, en todos los niveles de experiencias y culturas en el tiempo presente. Los signos y códigos actuales, de una suerte de indiferencia generalizada, enredan todas las complejas estructuras y representaciones del poder en guiones cada vez más precisos, en los que se imprime ontológicamente la desustancialización de lo real y las vivencias de una ausencia paroxista. En nuestro intento de analizar y desprendernos de la flamante (ir) realidad de la tecnología, del control y del consumo sin trabas, evocaremos el último Foucault, que formula - en la síntesis de una ontología original del presente - la perspectiva de disposiciones éticas inéditas de los sujetos y de sus cuerpos, específicamente actualizando la estetización única de sus propias existencias.A consolidação irrecusável de um regime de expansão-consumo-tolerância retifica toda manifestação simbólica do presente em uma vida comum. Os sintomas da hodierna civilização do consumo, nas subjetividades e em seus corpos, resumem a composição de sucessivas ordens - das relações individuais e coletivas - sob os signos do desenvolvimento econômico, das garantias jurídicas, da erotomania vulgar e das liberalidades banais; que se imantaram, sequazes, em todos os níveis de experiências e culturas no tempo presente. Os signos e os códigos atuais, de uma espécie de indiferença generalizada, convolam todas as complexas estruturas e performances de poder em roteiros cada vez mais precisos, sobre os quais a dessubstancialização do real e as experiências de uma paroxista ausência fazem-se ontologicamente imprimir.
