Resumo: We will see on this study how the inspection of the spirit is dealing with the perception of wax as an intellectual power to know, in order the nature of the ego cogitans, as the faculty of understanding and the faculty of desire operate by complementarity. Therefore we will address the Second Meditation, especially the second part of this meditation (from the paragraph twelve), with explanatory complements from other meditations and works of the philosopher, to show the issue of correcting the way, facing the occasional epistemic impasse on the apprehension of sensitive data, implicitly refers to the operating set of Cartesian theory of faculties.
