Resumo: In the following work it analyze the notion of Negritude proposed by Aimé Césaire in France and the trayectory that it has had in the Western cultural world during the 20th century. From this position, to relate the encounters and disagreements with the European and American intellectuals that have modified their definition according to their historical context, focusing on criticis and self-criticism, with make posible a better amplitude of their definition.
