Resumo: The article discusses writing as a crucial nexus of Davi Kopenawa Yanomami's counter-ethnographic elaboration on white people. He presents a contrary point of view on writing and defends in a vigorous and rebellious way the means and values ​​of his oral tradition. Paying attention to the way in which his thought operates and what it reveals, his counter-ethnographic extract is presented, focusing on his reflections on writing. The discussion is also based on the terms of the Yanomami language and cosmology through which writing was thought, and which finally provide the subsidies for the conclusion on the shamanization of writing exercised in The falling sky or on how the shaman makes writing entering cosmopolitics.
