Resumo: The aim of this paper is to describe the development of a questionnaire which was part of a thesis that investigates the Quality of Working Life of English Teachers through the application of the biopsychosocial and organizational model – BPSO-96, combined with the welfare competence model – BEO. The research consisted in detecting the Quality of Working Life of English Teachers perceptions, characterized by the different labor relations, most of the time precarious and with great location diversity, working hours, life history and Professional expectations. The structure of the questionnaire was organized based on the BPSO-96 indicators and the factors building the organizational welfare competence. It was possible to verify, through the combination of models that the questionnaire must align the variable definitions to be searched, and its respective indicators up to the research consolidation. It’s is possible to identify and discuss what can be improved or maintained, generating continuous improvement and critical appreciation concerning the models and the questionnaire.

It’s is possible to identify and discuss what can be improved or maintained, generating continuous improvement and critical appreciation concerning the models and the questionnaire.El objetivo de este artículo es describir la construcción del instrumento de colecta de dados de una investigación sobre Gestión de Calidad de Vida en el Trabajo de los profesores de inglés a través de la aplicación de los modelos de análisis biopsicosocial y organizacional – BPSO-96 combinado con el modelo de competencia del bienestar organizacional – BEO. El problema de investigación partió de la percepción de la Calidad de Vida en el Trabajo de los profesores de inglés, teniendo en vista las condiciones contractuales heteróclitas, frecuentemente precarias y con gran diversidad de localización, carga de trabajo, historia de vida y expectativas profesionales. La estructura del instrumento análisis fue organizada a partir de los indicadores BPSO-96 y de los factores que forman la competencia del bienestar organizacional. Se pudo verificar, por medio de la combinación de modelos que el instrumento de colecta de dados debe alinear desde la definición de las variables que serán investigadas y sus respectivos indicadores hasta la concreción de la investigación. Es posible, a partir de la reevaluación del instrumento, identificar y discutir lo que puede ser mejorado o mantenido, generando continuo perfeccionamiento y visión crítica de los modelos y del instrumento construido.O objetivo deste artigo é descrever a construção do instrumento de coleta de dados de uma pesquisa sobre Gestão de Qualidade de Vida no Trabalho dos professores de inglês através da aplicação dos modelos de análise biopsicossocial e organizacional – BPSO-96 combinado com o modelo de competência do bem-estar organizacional – BEO. O problema de pesquisa partiu da percepção da Qualidade de Vida no Trabalho dos professores de inglês, tendo em vista as condições contratuais heterogêneas, freqüentemente precárias e com grande diversidade de localização, carga de trabalho, história de vida e expectativas profissionais. A estrutura do instrumento análise foi organizada a partir dos indicadores BPSO-96 e dos fatores que formam a competência do bem-estar organizacional. Pôde-se verificar, por meio da combinação de modelos que o instrumento de coleta de dados deve alinhar desde a definição das variáveis a serem pesquisadas e seus respectivos indicadores até a concretização da pesquisa.
