Resumo: This study has as objective to analyze environmental and social conduct of shrimp culture companies located in the west coast of the state of Ceará. An exploratory study in 8 companies of this sector was used to develop the analysis. Based on the Structure-Conduct-Performance (SCP)-Triple model, a questionnaire was used to reach the environmental and social conduct (management) data, classified as "conduct profile" in the literature. The results of the study demonstrate that most of the researched companies have a weak conduct profile, either environmental or social, except for one, which looks for different business opportunities.

Para desarrollar ese análisis, se usa un estudio exploratorio en ocho empresas del sector. Con base en el abordaje de la Estructura-Conducta-Performance (ECP) Tríplice, se usó un cuestionario que recoge datos sobre conductas (gestión) ambiental y social y las clasifica conforme “perfiles” de conducta expresos en la literatura. Los resultados del estudio demuestran que la mayoría de las empresas investigadas mantiene un perfil de conducta débil, tanto ambiental cuanto social, siendo encontrada una excepción, que busca una oportunidad de mercado diferenciado.Este estudo tem por objetivo analisar a conduta ambiental e social de empresas de carcinicultura do litoral oeste do Estado do Ceará. Para desenvolver essa análise, usa-se um estudo exploratório em oito empresas do setor. Com base na abordagem da Estrutura-Conduta-Performance (ECP) Tríplice, usou-se um questionário que levanta dados sobre condutas (gestão) ambiental e social e as classifica conforme “perfis” de conduta expressos na literatura.
