Resumo: This study aimed to measure the effects of the learning domain, based on Bloom's taxonomy, on individual absorptive capacity. We chose to research the absorptive capacity at the individual level because as identified in the theoretical bases, most of the approaches focus on the organizational scope. In addition, it was observed that these studies involve only the cognitive domain of knowledge. The methodology was quantitative. An adapted version of the questionnaire developed by Wang et al. (2014) was used and for the learning domains a scale adapted from Bloom et al. (1970), applied to a sample of 128 employees of the selected company, in the field of construction materials in nine branches, located in municipalities in the west of the state of Paraná. The purpose of the hypothesis was to test whether the learning domain caused effects on individual absorptive capacity. Using structural equations with the use of the SMART PLS 4.0 software, this hypothesis was confirmed, explaining 38.8% of the absorptive capacity. It is considered that this research may bring new perspectives by including the learning domain with the affective and psychomotor dimensions in studies of absorption capacity applied in Administration, in the individual, group and organizational spheres.

It is considered that this research may bring new perspectives by including the learning domain with the affective and psychomotor dimensions in studies of absorption capacity applied in Administration, in the individual, group and organizational spheres.
