Resumo: The judicial scene witnesses, through the literary representations that it su­ggests, historical contexts from which it can­not be emancipated. From a judgment, criti­cal and lost, often analyzed by the literature of the 19th and 20th centuries, the judicial scene seems to become object, in this 21st century, of an interrogative and fertile atten­tion, capable of modifying its image. An image of justice that would be in conformity with a re¬silient and moving humanity. KEYWORDS: The act of judging. Stere­otypes. Received ideas. Representation, re­ception. Consideration. D’un procès, critique et perdu, maintes fois instruit par la littérature des 19ème et 20ème siècles, la scène judiciaire semble devenir l’objet, en ce 21 ème siècle, d’une attention interrogative et féconde de nature à en modifier l’image. A partir de um julga¬mento, crítico e perdido, frequente­mente analisado pela literatura dos séculos XIX e XX, a cena judicial parece se tornar objeto, neste século XXI, de uma atenção interro-gativa e fértil, capaz de modificar sua ima¬gem.
